Everything was awesome. Nice cozy family atmosphere, nice breakfast, nice little gym, and quite atmosphere away from the noise but still the beach is across the street almost and not far assay from most of the amenities of Dadunghaj

Was given a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a nice sea view. Liked their cooking facilities and washing machine. Made travelling easier. Close to the beach and Lu Hui Tou which is a famous scenic spot.

It was our second time there and certainly not the last. A great hotel, with an excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. We would love to stay again!

One street crossing close to the shore…bit more far to get to the beach. Good Chinese and international breakfast. Nice and friendly staff.

Not a bad stay for a few days during the National Day Holiday. Even with late evening arrival, check-in was managed quickly and smoothly with clear directions to all the main amenities. The rooms are like small apartments, complete with full kitchen, a washer/dryer and enough storage space for double the number of guests. Perfect if you are spending lots of time at the beach or if you are arriving from another stop on your travels. This hotel is maintained across three buildings and operates like a little village with its own street, terraced bar, leisure centre, restaurant and pool. Facilities for families and small children are amazing. As a solo traveller, I enjoyed the atmosphere by the bar and in quieter outdoor area at the deeper end of the swimming pool. The restaurant specialises in Malaysian and Singaporean food - unfortunately, it was a bit hit and miss for me with other dishes, but breakfast was top quality and I can highly recommend their Cubby Burger meal - awesome! I’d also recommend connecting on WeChat with reception staff for ease of translation. Room service ladies didn’t seem to appreciate the ‘do not disturb’ signs on my door and woke me twice with door knocking and even phone-calling the room on day one, just so they could come in to clean! A bit much for me, having barely unpacked the night before. Best to make your preferences for a stay here known directly to the reception staff. There are some fun places to visit close by at Dadonghai and plenty of water sport activities, shops, music bars and night markets to experience too. For space, comfort and convenience at a very reasonable price, I can definitely recommend a stay at the Ascott. Do be very clear though about your expectations, and don’t leave any significant valuables unattended.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious, and the view is also great. There are some very unique buildings on the hotel's path that are quite beautiful. Vicky is very friendly and can communicate well.

Hotel is in a very good location and the suites are very comfortable with great Seaview. Recommended for group or family stays

Very welcoming and helpful staff. At the reception, with special mention of Lucy and 小许. They were responsive and answer to my queries. They would also clarify if the cleaners could come in at convenient time.

New hotel, as expected you have nothing to worry about the cleanliness of the hotel and service rendered by the staffs. But Ray, the night shift manager according to the front counter has been doing more than excellent level. The night before checking in, I called to ask for transfer service from train station to hotel but unfortunately service is unavailable to/from train station. Ray offered his personal service to meet us at the train station and grab an e hailing cab for us, and all these were done out of his shift hour. I'm truly appreciating his initiative and efforts in making sure our journey was smooth and comfortable. I think it's Ascott group's fortune to have such a dedicated staff working for the property.

Amazing International standards serviced apartment. Right from checkin to checkout you won't be disappointed with the hospitality and services. It's a brand new apartment, all the appliances are international branded like Siemens, Toto, Electrolux, Huawei... They have Nescafe coffee machine with good Nescafe coffee capsules. They have indoor Air quality monitoring. Breakfast was great, as a vegetarian there was plenty options and every day there was different variety. The coffee is worth to try. The swimming pool and gym has a good view. I enjoyed every bit of it. Respectful and supportive staff. Location wise, it's a walkable distance to beach and closer to local amenities. Perfect for a family trip.Tip: Ask for Building 1 as you will get nice ocean and mountain view.
