This place was so beautiful and peaceful. Their customer service was on point. The rooms were beautiful. The food was delicious the breakfast the best. The place is a little bit far from everywhere so if you wanna go to rest and not do anything, this is the perfect place to be at.

If you are looking for a perfect experience. This is it! Casa Sforza achieves an exceptional hospitality standard. We did not want to leave.

Pros: The property is beautiful, the staff are exceptionally friendly, and the food and drinks are excellent at any time of day. Roberto welcomed us warmly, provided an overview of the services, and gave us a tour of the property. The hotel provides filtered water, coffee and French press - this was a nice touch! Overall the team made us feel extra special during our stay. Cons: The air conditioning was not sufficient to keep the room cool - this made it difficult for me to sleep. Additionally, there are no blackout shades, television, or beachside amenities such as umbrellas and lounge chairs. Nothing is within walking distance and taxis charge extra for pickups or drop-offs at this hotel. Not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but good to be aware of.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had From the moment we arrived at Casona Sforza, you realize it is going to be a special stay. The architecture and design of the building are amazing—modern in harmony with the natural surroundings. The details create a serene and beautiful atmosphere. The food is great. Fine dining, with flavors and presentations worthy of the best high-cuisine restaurants. The chefs put so much effort in each plate. The service is tops. The staff didn’t just take care of us—they treat you like family. They are always available to help you, treating you with kindness and attention, but sincere warmth. Without a doubt, this was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Casona Sforza is a great blend of beauty, gastronomy, and heartfelt hospitality.

Highly recommend this property. The communication from the staff begins weeks prior to arrival. The service is top notch. Super friendly staff. Pool side service. The food from breakfast to dinning was amazing. The rooms have a unique architecture and are spacious.

I had a mixed experience here overall but, on my last day, it became a truly horrible one. As I was preparing to check out, a staff member entered my room without knocking, completely unannounced while I was changing. In a conversation with Ivan, the manager, about this subject, he not only denied what happened (despite not being there himself), but also raised his voice and accused me of fabricating the experience to “take advantage” of the hotel. The initial experience made me very uncomfortable but I wanted to try and resolve it with management, but instead I was further ridiculed and left in tears. To say the customer service is abysmal would be a massive understatement. My other issues are listed below - everything else pales a bit in comparison but to summarize: - False advertising of room amenities: I booked the most expensive room on the property which was supposed to feature a “hot tub” and a bath tub. Neither of which could actually in practice be filled with hot water because of the size of the water heater. If you’re in a limited remote location, that’s fine, but don’t advertise a “hot tub” that quite literally can’t get hot. The room's advertised "hydromassage tub" also simply does not exist. - Also because of the size of the water heater, the shower did not remain hot for the duration of a shower - Disruptive noise: ongoing construction at very early hours in the morning is VERY loud. As well as voices from staff directly outside my room. noise travels a ton throughout the property - Uncommunicative, unhelpful staff: there is a ton of staff relative to the number of guests on the property but I still went long periods without anyone coming to take my drink or food orders and often had to flag them down. - Miscellaneous other maintenance issues: leaky air conditioning, broken safe, broken light switch - Cannot swim on the beach so had to take expensive taxis to get anywhere with ocean access. - Need taxis to get anywhere but the taxis are extremely unreliable, often taking up to 45 minutes to arrive at the hotel. - Sauna / cold plunge: I paid for a daily sauna / cold plunge service (which really is ridiculous that at a “resort” of this level that is an additional charge) and the hygiene was dubious at best. The cold plunge never seemed to be cleaned or the water refreshed when I went in. It also wasn’t actually kept cold if you go later in the day. - Bugs: this is more a factor of the remote location but the presence of bugs everywhere in the hotel, including the rooms, is staggering. I’m leaving with no less than 15 new bites despite using the bug spray provided. Overall this is definitively not a luxury resort. It looks nice on the surface but is not the relaxing oasis that it would have you believe.
