"We have stayed here a few times before on our last trip to Tassie. This time we based ourselves there in Hobart and did day trips out from the motel. Exiting the motel to any destination nearby was so easy. There is good on site parking and close enough to the city for Uber when we didn't want to deal with parking. The restaurants and take aways nearby in both directions are some of the best we have visited. We were lucky to be based in the same room even though we placed 3 bookings for the week. The rooms are always clean and the building well maintained. Easy phone call for assistance if reception was unattended."

"Throughout my stay, I only encountered one staff member, and their attitude was consistently cold. This was a first for me in all my hotel experiences in Australia, and it left a very bad impression. Additionally, there's no elevator in the hotel, and the staircase is quite narrow. We struggled immensely to carry our suitcases up to the room, and then had to lug them down ourselves at check-out, with no one offering assistance – another unique experience on my Australian trip. As for the room, the bathroom was extremely small and had no window, essentially just a partitioned-off corner within the room. The head of the bed was against the windowsill, with no bedside tables, and the power outlets were quite a distance away, making it very inconvenient to charge my phone at night. In summary, while the hotel looks decent from the outside, it has numerous issues with its details."
