"Just spent 4 nights here with u3a group of 33 visiting various places. Staff looked after us really well and always there with a friendly smile. Everywhere was very clean and the breakfast and evening meals excellent. Very varied and at least 4 options. Beautiful view from bedroom window overlooking the sea and a delight to watch the dogs enjoying their morning walks. Would definitely recommend. Coach park bit of a walk for the driver but drop off outside the hotel and porterage worked well. Lift could be a wait as 2 other groups besides ourselves but meals always on time."

"Stayed here for two nights (family, spread over 2 rooms). On the second night the fire alarm went off just before 6am and the hotel was evacuated so we were all made to wait on the beach. When we went back in the lady told us to contact customer relations as it would be covered under the good night guarantee as it was a false alarm. We did this the following day on their Watsapp and was told someone would get back to us in 5 days. I contacted them after 5 days on the same chat, as advised by the original person if I had not heard back to which I had a response saying the chat had ended. Had to go through the entire thing again to be told that the other person had sent a message but unfortunately it had not sent! They would not be honouring the Good Night Guarantee as fire alarms were not included in their reasons. (Even though we had been told by the staff that if it was a false alarm, then they would be). The staff were all nice and the hotel was sufficient but the good nights guarantee is anything but!"

"What a lovely place. I've stayed in many B&Bs and this is definitely the best. The room was bright and fresh, well decorated. Breakfast was fab with lots of choices. Located right by the beach, high street and bus stops so perfect for everything. Hosts were welcoming, friendly, helpful and made the stay"

"We stayed for 3 nights at the Chaston Manor Hotel in early September 2022, so this review is very late! However, I always intended to write that we had a good stay. The service was friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were good and the room was clean and comfy and furnished to a good standard. We negotiated a decent price via a Booking site. Our host was Callum and he was great throughout. If we go back to the I-o-W I think we will again look at staying there, perhaps making contact direct."

"This has to be one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in , the place was filthy, dead flies on the windowsills, dirty windowss, mouldy walls the pillows were very thin and the bedding didn’t match , the place smelt unclean as soon as we walked in , the breakfast was awful with anemic looking sausages, we asked for a glass of orange juice to be told that was for children not adults, the cereals were two large bowls one with cornflakes with a small plastic bowl to use to fill your bowl , the weetabix had no utensil so you had to use your hands to get them , my advise is avoid at all cost !"
