Great property! The Pueblo people are amazing.Suggest hiking trail, beautiful at night as well lit. Firepits were fun. Lots of activities. Golf next door at the Twin Warrior was great! The course is in beautiful condition(no sand in bunkers) but all else was great there. Our room was noisy because of a draft under door…Food on property could be better limited menu and do not recommend pizza. The trails are wonderful, great using the bikes through the trails and lots of activities. The hotel needs to monitor jacuzzi there where 14 people in there from a pro-abortion group who were rather rude. The occupancy at the jacuzzi stated 8. We were unable to use due to their 3 hour stake. :( This group also did not permit use of the lobby bathroom.:( Hotel should have not permitted this. Nevertheless…we would recommend the property as it is tranquil and beautiful. The staff is great and very kind overall. Just make sure if you get an outside room there is no whistling draft under door to keep you up. Most of the negatives were timing and not a reflection of hotel property.

We had a great time at Hyatt Regency Tamaya in August 2025. The resort is in a beautiful area with breathtaking views and lots to explore. There are lots of restaurant options and activity options on property. The horseback riding was really fantastic and the kids had a blast at the pool. The waterslide is more intense than it looks!

Tamaya is a beautiful resort with great facilities for large gatherings. The room are not large but are well appointed and modern. The staff is very good, and the property is well staffed. The pools are especially enjoyable and there is one for all different experiences. We will continue to be regular guests there.

Our stay at the Tamaya Resort was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you instantly relax. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering every comfort we could need. The staff went above and beyond—always friendly, attentive, and eager to help. The resort’s amenities, from the pool to the dining options, were top-notch, and we loved the unique cultural touches that made our visit feel truly special. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional service and a beautiful setting, Tamaya Resort is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent experience from check in to check out. The hotel and grounds are beautiful with amazing views. Extremely polite staff who were all very helpful and ensured our stay was memorable. The entire resort is spotless and it’s obvious the Hyatt staff take pride in this property.

Beautiful resort! Rooms are decorated in a Pueblo style and there’s native art throughout. Natural wood incense filters in the lobby, and at night bonfires are accompanied by free s’more kits! Live music in the casual lounge and good food. Pools kept kids amused two days. The only downside is the poolside drinks and food. The burger and chicken sandwich were generous but just ok. The chips and queso? Chips were “end of the bag” broken and the queso was so bland even the kids found it boring. The real disappointment was the hoagie. Four thin cheap slices of turkey and two slices of Swiss on a bun for $15??? It was so cheap and bad I tossed the hoagie top and folded the bottom just to make it seem like more. The kicker? We ordered ham and cheddar but got turkey Swiss. Since the waiter didn’t come for our order we just ate it. Bad service. Take your own food to poolside, because their food is awful and embarrassingly overpriced.

On the whole, this resort was exactly what we needed when we needed it. We live nearby and desperately needed a mini-cay, and this property did NOT disappoint. We loved the Rio Grande bar... great food, drinks, and live music! Our recently renovated balcony king was spotless. Suggestions that did not take away from our enjoyment; the weirdly tall "coffee table" near the couch awkward and not easy to move. A lower table/firm ottoman, side tables for drinks would be better. Paper cups are not what I expect in a resort of this caliber. Rocks glasses and actual coffee cups would have improved the experience. All in all, it was an amazing visit. We'll be back. Kudos to the Rio Grande staff... They worked hard and were kind, professional, and pleasant!

Such a lovely stay during our visit to Albuquerque-Santa Fe area with our family. Suite offered connecting rooms perfect for traveling w two teens, and was right next to the main pool with mountain view. Enjoyed lunch and drinks by the pool, breakfast daily at the Santa Ana Cafe, and dinner most nights at the lounge. Borrowed bikes to visit the horses at the nearby stables and really enjoyed the authentic Pueblo bread making class—worth the added fee, in my opinion. And the bread was yummy! S’mores nightly were a nice touch and the rooms were recently renovated—really fresh and clean, while still a pretty Southwest decor. There were other families while we were there (babies through teens) but also couples and adult groups. Resort felt busy, but never crowded. We had plenty of space at the pool each day and never had to wait for a table at restaurants. And the staff was friendly and attentive throughout—poolside, restaurants, registration, bar, and store. They were particularly helpful when we checked in and couldn’t get our AC to work and then later when we locked ourselves out of our connecting room. We explored area national park sites (Bandelier, Pecos, Valles Caldera) and even visited a Pueblo for their feast day and experienced their Corn Dance. Hope we can find a reason to get back to New Mexico again soon and would definitely stay at Tamaya when we return!
