The B&B wasn't big, but it was well-equipped, surrounded by flowers, herbs, and greenery. The village wasn't big, but its charm lay in its simple folk customs and beautiful scenery.
We handed candy to children on the roadside, picked vegetables with Grandma in the fields, and toasted at Grandpa's house. Their smiles were sincere, their eyes clear.
This is how shocking it is~

How can I put it? I just love it. It's amazing! You can tell the owner is very attentive! You can cook your own meals, and the kitchen appliances are all complete. You can bring your own food and spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle!

I saw them build a house in **, and I have been thinking about it for two years. I just want to find a place to rest and relax these two days. This place is almost isolated from the world, and the environment is super good. I saw fireflies in the yard on the first night. On the second day, I lay down in the homestay, ate barbecue (there were Liupo chili noodles brought from Chongqing before, and barbecue ingredients from Qiqihar in Northeast China, superb), watched a movie (with a projector), and hiked nearby on the third day to enjoy the beautiful scenery. This is called a homestay. The facilities are very good, especially the bed is super comfortable. It is also very convenient to take a shower, and they also use an electric toilet. Haha, the boss spent a lot of money. It’s so nice to have a short vacation with three or five friends! Friends who come here remember to bring some delicious food from the town, and buy good ingredients, fruits and drinks in the city. There is no canteen to buy things here.

The boss is attentive, enthusiastic and thoughtful. The B&B is simple and comfortable, with great attention to detail and thoughtful consideration. The breakfast is rich, the noodles are delicious, and the scenery of the village is beautiful. It is the best B&B I have stayed in during this trip to Guizhou.

My favorite place in Guizhou this time is the ancient village on the top of the mountain. The hotel is a completely wooden structure from the exterior to the interior decoration. The wooden structure is very difficult to maintain and is totally worth the price. I talked with the persistent young entrepreneurial boss about some intangible cultural heritages such as Shuizu architecture, Shuishu culture, and horsetail embroidery, which gave me a real understanding of Chinese traditional culture. Walking in the village, feeling the sunset, the sea of clouds in the morning, the sound of rain, and the people working in the fields, I feel the most simple life. The false smoothness of the city is very boring. Time is too hurried. I hope I can come here to daze if I have the chance.

A wonderful trip to Zhenlei Village, an excellent secluded and primitive village.
The boss was very enthusiastic and took us to meet Mr. Shuishu Wei. We had a deep understanding of the Shui culture during the communication with him and benefited a lot.
The next morning, we walked around the quiet village and stopped, which was very pleasant. Seeing the simple villagers working, I couldn't help but stop and take pictures of these beautiful moments.
I like the design and architectural style of the entire homestay very much. The fabric bedding is particularly comfortable. It is the most memorable homestay of our trip!

Zhenlei Village has been built for more than 400 years. Most of the people are surnamed Wei. It is a very well-preserved traditional village of ethnic minorities. Among them, more than 100 well-preserved stilt houses from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China have become its main architectural features, relying on terraced landscapes and ethnic culture. Zhenlei Village is also a multi-ethnic village with very harmonious ethnic integration. The Shui and Miao people live next to each other, intermarry and live in harmony. It is worth mentioning that the investors of the Golden Turtle Wine B&B are a couple born in the 1990s who are very sentimental. They came to Guizhou from the far northeast to invest. They are very attentive in site selection, layout, renovation, and supplies. In particular, they can actively recommend the local culture--Shuishu to the guests, which makes the trip more culturally meaningful!
The room has a good view and is very clean. The mattress, linen, toilet, and toiletries are very particular. The beef brisket powder for breakfast requires an hour's round-trip drive to buy it back.
The immersive experience is full!

The only ancient village in China where three ethnic groups (Han + Shui + Miao) live in harmony - Zhenlei Village. It is definitely a niche but worth an immersive experience. Stay at the only homestay here that is dedicated to preserving ethnic minority culture - Golden Turtle Exchange Wine. The owner is a couple + the cutest dog in the world, Sol. The decoration design of the homestay highlights details and maintains the original ecology everywhere - refrigerator toilet hand sanitizer, mattress snacks, Mingqian tea, no need

Discovering this B&B nestled in a quaint village was a stroke of fate, and it embarked on a journey filled with surprises. Even before I even checked in, I could already sense the B&B owner's thoughtfulness. During our initial online communication, he explained the driving route and the village's cultural characteristics. After checking in, we were greeted by the friendly and reliable Director Wei (former head of the Zenlei Village Committee, now responsible for in-person reception). After just two short nights, I felt incredibly reluctant to leave!
Compared to other heavily commercialized villages, the quaint and tranquil Zenlei Village retains its original village structure. The B&B seamlessly integrates Shui culture and is filled with delightful little details. I couldn't help but ask the owner, "Is the B&B truly profitable?" He replied, "No." Truly a gold-for-wine exchange!
