Fantastic hotel - lovely rooms (we had the Small Double and it was more than fine for the two of us) and all areas beautifully done. The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Raul, whose recommendations and advice was invaluable. Only slight drawback was not having an on-site restaurant but there are so many good places within 5 minutes walk that it really doesn’t matter (again, really good recommendations made!) Right in the centre of San Pedro (actually behind the church) but felt very safe and secure, and literally a couple of minutes from the shops, market, restaurants and excursion agents. Breakfast was fine - eggs an option to the buffet; fresh OJ on request and access to coffee etc whenever needed. Towels available for hire for the excursions that involve swimming. We stayed for 3 lovely days and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for looking after us so well.

We had three nights in this wonderful hotel. The concept of the hotel is a beautiful experience. The rooms are very comfortable. There is a very relaxing atmosphere about the whole place. Afternoon tea and wine tasting in the evening is such a refreshing bonus. A big shout out to Franklyn the manager and his team who are full of kindness and consideration. Breakfast is amazing with a fabulous selection. The hotel is in a wonderful location close to the main square and busy Main Street. We had a great time here and would thoroughly recommend. You won’t regret your stay! Thank you Terrantai!

This hotel was simply excellent and staffed by a wonderful friendly team led by Franklin. It is situated in the heart of downtown San Pedro, so extremely convenient for restaurants, travel agents, tourist shops/markets etc. Inside the rooms are lovely and there are many shared spaces that are great to chill out in and relax. They pride themselves on doing something called Ayni, which means “giving back”. What this translates to is them offering Tambo snacks at lunchtime, Tea time (including home made biscuits) later and Wine tasting complete with cheese and other snacks in the evening. All for free. After leaving for a trip to Bolivia and returning to a different San Pedro hotel that our tour operator had booked us into ☹️ we popped in to say hi to Franklin and the team and were immediately invited in for wine tasting and a chat. A wonderful stay, thanks to everyone in the team.

Having worked in the travel industry all my life, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Not because it’s 5 star deluxe, but every member of staff knows that the guest experience is the most important. Yes, the hotel is centrally located which is great for restaurants and bars. Yes, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the stone finishing is a wonderful design touch. Yes, the breakfast is extensive and good. But there’s so much more! The welcome gift of a bag and a water bottle for the stay. A cleaning cloth and brush for shoes because the desert is dirty. The fact that your room is cleaned by late morning is a true delight when you come back from an excursion at 11 a.m. which started at 4 a.m. The fact that breakfast is available even at this time, as staff care that you have something to eat before the big adventure. Then there’s the snacks, the tea tasting and a glass of wine or two with canapés every evening to create that relaxed atmosphere. The staff take time to talk to the guests and ask how their day was. They remember your room number so you don’t have to repeat it when asking for the key. They’re happy to recommend restaurants, bars and laundry services which are excellent and good value for money. And every time you come back to the hotel, staff greet you in a way that they are genuinely pleased to see you again. Every single member of staff is first class and Christian is a true hospitality professional. Many leading hotels of the world could learn a lot from this group of dedicated professionals who really know how to make the guest experience special. Bravo to all of you!

We had a wonderful stay at Terrantai Lodge. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was exactly what we were looking for and the breakfast, Tumbo, and wine tastings were nice and welcomed amenities. We were out and about during the days, so didn’t have a chance to enjoy the pool area, but it looked nice and relaxing. The location is very good for walking around the town and not too loud at night. We would stay again.
