The Wayfarer San Luis Obispo, Tapestry by Hilton

The hotel is Great!!! Clean, safe and awesome location, however, I stayed at the second floor, I can heard the sound of the third floor customers walking all the time for 2 days, beside, that is 5 stars hotel, and I will go there again!!!

Typical motel with motel vibes. No windows in any room. Hence, no view. The only good part is that they canceled my booking at their end when I complained, and hopefully I should have my money back soon.

Check in was a breeze!! Super clean lobby, well appointed rooms and the best part… BAILEY! She was awesome at the front desk, explained the amenities of the hotel and got us excited for a great trip!! 😍

The room was quite small, but serviceable. The best part was staying on a Thursday night and being able to walk to the Farmer’s Market (bring cash - some vendors take cards & ApplePay but others do not… like the amazing barbecue place.). Alternatively, the hotel will let you rent bikes for $5/hour or $20/day, but that means you have to bike uphill back to the hotel. No thanks… we took an Uber back, it worked great. Back to reviewing the hotel. They said they were short staffed so they couldn’t offer late checkout, but they called housekeeping who agreed to let us stay until noon (!) … okay… I had a zoom meeting until 11:30, so that kind of worked except the room keys stopped functioning at 11am, so I had to interrupt my meeting to let my other half back in. Rather inconvenient. Otherwise, it was quiet, clean and a little weird with the pictures on the ceiling, but whatever.
