Great place to stay with family and friends. They have a wide area and good distance between cabins. Some cabins (farthest from the beach) have weak mobile signal for both Smart and Globe. Some cabins also have weak wifi due to distance with the router but they do have Starlink in the lounge and dining area. Our CR is a bit messy because water from our wet suits pools on the floor because water doesn’t flow properly into the drain. I made the booking on the date of my arrival as i was stuck there in Laiya that i was not able to catch the last bus back to Manila. The room and service also the food is nice except that they might forget to put some amenities inside but this is understandable as my reservation is really ad-hoc. I really enjoyed the vibe and the experience of having dinner next to the beach, so romantic. This is absolutely amazing to spend your weekend escaping from the concrete jungle in my city. Also they got a tablet in the room so you can communicate with the staff immediatly, that's really convenient. There is a staff really really helpful , he is cute and with a geniue and charming smile on the face, helped me to get to the place i was planned to go. He gave me the right direction and make me a memo so that i could pass to the van driver in my transition. I am really appreciated for the help as the transportation in philippinesis is quite confusing.

We stayed at a 3 BR Villa Premier. All the rooms and their ensuite bathrooms which was really appreciated. The service was also very good, everyone was attentive and polite, from the moment we brought our stuff down from the van, and until check-out. The rooms were clean and the design of the villa was practical but still very nice. Pool towels were also readily available everywhere and that was very convenient! They also had complimentary activities such as kayak, paddle board, and balsa raft which they tow towards the area for snorkeling! Super convenient. They had multiple pools and our villa was right across one so it was appreciated. The food was also delicious and I would say they charge a fair price for it. Some points of improvement. 1. Cala Trail - it was very rugged, the wooden path was rotten, and there were plenty of mosquitos. This was the path to the archery which we did not end up going anymore because of this. 2. The playground for kids were also dirty and the area had lots of mosquitos. 3. They did not serve ice cream at the main restaurant - they told us that this is part of in-room service. What a missed opportunity to sell ice cream by the beach hahaha 4. It was low tide every after lunch so there's no opportunity to swim at the beach - not sure if this is seasonal but quite disappointing that you can't swim at the beach during the afternoon. 5. We hired a banca during our stay and the seats of the banca could be improved - I've ridden on so many but the seats of this one wasn't comfortable. Just a thin wooden plank. 6. The staff when asked prior to our banca reservation also couldn't answer if they had life vests for infants. They said there were but there really weren't. 7. The driver's quarters need to be improved according to our driver. There was a foul smell, and no bed and pillow covers! We take care of our staff really well, and they deserve the same respect of having a decent place to stay. I hope you really improve on this.

Thank you for the hospitality that our family experienced at the resort! All praise and gratitude from the moment we've arrived, the activities (kayaking, paddle board, balsa to the marine sanctuary, banana boat, and archery), all the room requests, the dining experience (both Buglas Isla Cafe and La Mensa) super worth the price until our departure—it was definitely the little things that your team and the management added to the services that made the difference. Highly recommended, particularly for families or groups seeking exclusivity.

Tried once and definitely not coming back! Do not be fooled by their deceiving photos online. It is completely different from what you'll see at the resort. Judy and charles made us feel welcome, however the waiter who served our plated breakfast should undergo proper training on how to handle guests professionally. Plastic cup used for service water should be replaced. It looks old, cheap and dirty. We had a lovely dinner by the beach which i think is the only highlight of this trip. Swimming pool is not well maintained and the beach itself isn't inviting at all. I do not recommend it for swimming. Public resorts nearby are way better than this place. Go somewhere else. Its not worth it. Food is expensive compared to other leading resorts in the area. To the management of Cala Laiya, go to Acuatico and learn from them.

Excellent facilities and customer services. We felt really take cared of the staff who went above and beyond in extending their warmth and hospitality. Shout out to the the kitchen staff and the room service crew who ensured that our stay was comfortable.

We had a family reunion at Cala Laiya for 4 days and 3 nights, and all the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite being a large group with many kids, they met all our needs with a smile, making us feel both trusted and welcomed. As a parent, I especially appreciated the personalised cake made for our son's 7th birthday. A big thank you to Chef Jomer and his team for this thoughtful gesture. And for Sir Karl and his team for always serving us with our delicious meals with lots of patience and a smile on their faces. Our children enjoyed all the activities and amenities the resort offered. My husband and I were delighted by how clean and free from insects, sand flies, and mosquitoes the resort was. We’ll always be grateful for the exceptional experience - Thanks to all the staff working in Cala Laiya!

Wonderful place, beautiful scenery and environment! Very accomodating staff and wonderful service provided. Had a wonderful and joyful time with my family in here as there are activities that you can do with everyone. Delicious and appetizing food. Would very much return and recommend to everyone.
