Clean room, and worth the money paid. Nothing luxury, but was a good choice for sleepover close to the airport after very long flights.

Unsatisfactory. No closet or hangers in the room, so I couldn't hang up my clothes. Thin walls with noisy neighbors. Courtyard ugly and sad, paved with broken-up concrete. No desk in room. On the positive side, the room and bed were clean and comfortable, the desk clerks were friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was good. I booked at the last minute for a big conference, and rooms in San Jose were hard to find.

Filthy, smelly room. Wet spots on carpet. Furniture, carpeting, and beds are all at least fifty years old. Sketchy crowd of guys in back parking lot making it feel unsafe to park there. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Needed to stay one night in San Jose and all the hotels are outrageously priced so I decided to try out Hotel Rose Garden. Good location. it is definitely a budget hotel so set your expectations accordingly.

Kind of sketchy It was clean, although the second day we were there we found a large cockroach on the wall - seems like it might have come out from under the fridge.
