This house is beautiful! Staying here is not just renting a house but being a part of a story. The details of this house is incredible. From the architecture to design, the owner truly pored so much love into this home. The beds are so comfortable (better than hotels) and the house is so clean. My kids played games in the backyard and I enjoyed the nespresso watching them. Thank you for sharing your home. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, Thoughtfully Designed Home Perfect for Family Gatherings
We stayed here for a multigenerational family reunion and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The home is incredibly well cared for and you can tell the owner has poured love and attention into every detail. It truly feels like a home that someone renovated for themselves, with beautiful design choices, comfortable furnishings, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Walking through the neighborhood was a daily joy. The location is fantastic for exploring downtown San Jose. We walked to the Tech Interactive Museum, which was a hit for both kids and adults, and on the way back we enjoyed a Parisian bakery, a pho restaurant, a Mexican spot, and a banh mi shop. There are so many shops/restaurants are in walking distance that a car may not even be necessary. Not having to drive made everything feel more relaxed and enjoyable, and it gave us a great way to get to know the area. Both the front and back yards are like something out of a garden magazine. The landscaping is stunning. It feels like a master gardener has left their magic touch here. The backyard in particular is a peaceful retreat, with fruit trees (persimmon, lime, grapefruit, nectarine), fragrant roses, and cozy seating. We often found ourselves just sitting back there, soaking in the beauty and tranquility in the quiet mornings and evenings. We’re so grateful to have found this gem and would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in San Jose.

San Jose getaway
We were traveling for a family reunion in San Jose; family coming from Wisconsin, Alaska, and Colorado. It is always a joy to stay somewhere where you can tell the person cares about the details :) Beautiful architecture, well-tended rose and fruit tree garden (grapefruit tree, mandarin orange bush? a lemon or orange tree?), lovely furniture and artwork, games to play with the family (we played Monopoly, the San Jose version), and even a Nespresso pod coffee machine that was fun to try. We had 2 rental cars that fit easily into the gated driveway. From here we drove to see the Alcatraz tour from San Francisco on one day, and on another day we drove to Santa Cruz beach boardwalk on Monterey Bay as well as taking a fun tour of the Mystery Spot in the redwood forest. Thank you to the host for a wonderful stay!

A Welcome retreat for a Work Trip
Myself and 3 other colleagues took a trip to San Jose for work. As there are so many of us it was important to have enough room as well as bathrooms. This location had one working tub and 2 showers, perfect for what we needed. The decor was great and fit the house well. It is the most maintained property on the block, but the neighbors were friendly and lively.
Every room was great and spacious. We enjoyed the NordicTrack bike and in addition to the exercise we got walking the neighborhood. Having ecobee thermostats made everything nice and convenient. Missing from my interpretation from the listing is the 2 included Bidets. They might have been mentioned, so for me this was a pleasant surprise. Additionally the tissue paper was great quality, not a cheap option.
The backyard was a great oasis for us. The landscape is well maintained and important to us as we needed somewhere to unwind after work each day. The patio furniture and outdoor solar lamps were a night touch. We never used the grill, but it looked nice and was a great amenity.
The front stoop and yard was also very well taken care of. The car gate seems to have suffered some damage and is not automated, but using it manually was not an issue at all. The front stoop was great for a morning coffee in the shade and the back porch great for a morning coffee in the sun. There was a wasp nest that began on the stoop's ceiling, a temporary issue, though they were no bother to us at all.
