Chancellor Hotel on Union Square Reviews

All Good, Good Location good  sleep , extended stay for 4 nights 

I like the hot water, tea, coffee, cookies, apples and popcorn supplies at the lobby. Hotel prepared champagne for my birthday but I was given a wrong room initially. Location is convenient but noisy, due to protests going on at the nearby hotels. They start early morning and end late at night. Room size is decent, we got a queen bed and it was soft. The toilet bowl position is very close to the toilet door and the wall. The room might not be ok for elderly or ppl with disabilities as there is only bath tub in the toilet.

Very good ! It was in a good location for sightseeing, very fast, a little small but the facilities were very clean and satisfactory.

I love the location, it is so close to Union Square, with restaurants and Bank of America only walking distances away. Macy's and other stores are also very close and Chinatown only 15 minutes walking if you want to look for Chinese food. I also feel safe while staying here because the neighborhood is secure (of course you also need to stay alert & careful).

The hotel is situated in downtown San Francisco. It is conveniently located.

The location was really nice and the room was clean. But the heater didn't work so it was quite cold.

Hotel nearby Union Square and there are supermarket nearby. Also near to Chinatown and the tourist attraction

Best hotel to stay in!

The location is great! It's right in the middle of downtown San Francisco. Since it was Christmas season, the Christmas lights at Macy's and Union Square were wonderful, so I enjoyed walking around there many times. You can also get on the cable car and the bus of the same series, which I've always wanted to see, right in front of the hotel. As for facilities, there is a hair dryer in the room. There was also a large closet, which was helpful since I stayed for several nights. The refrigerator in the room was also good and cold. There were also fresh apples, mojito water, and cookies in the lobby, which you could eat at any time. I bit into the apples with the skin on, but they were quite delicious. The cookies were very delicious, so I was happy that the type changed every time I went to get them. The front desk and lobby were small, and I liked the relaxing atmosphere, like a living room in the good old days of America. Behind it was a cafe corner, where coffee (decaf is also available), black tea, and herbal tea bags were available in abundance. There was also a water server (hot and cold), so I was able to enjoy cup noodles and other things. There was also a microwave there, so I was able to enjoy the instant curry I brought with me! The only drawback is that the beds are very high. I'm over 170cm tall, but the height of the vaulting horse is too high (it feels like it's about 80cm). Other than that, the staff and customers were very friendly and I felt at ease, so I'll definitely use it again next time I go to San Francisco.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, right next to Union Square, and it is easy to go there. There are fruits, biscuits, coffee and hot tea available in the lobby of the hotel, which is very considerate. It would be better if the room provides a hot water kettle.
