We were originally booked for a staycation for 2 nights and had such a great time we extended it to 5 nights. Rudy, JP, and Anjelique at the front desk were incredible, attentive, and accommodating. While Evan at the pool bar, and Jave at the restaurant were great to us, even remembering our drink orders and how we like our coffee. The pool, bikes, fitness center and pool bars kept us having a great time while the suites with those comfortable beds that make you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud and the big tub to come back to each night made it hard to leave this place. The staff here was an nothing short of exemplary in the spirit of service, thank you and we will be back.

Got married here in 2023 as SD locals, and now that we live in another part of SoCal, we still make trips. It is a special place for us and if something isn't perfect, they do their best to make it so. Enrique and Joseph have assisted us directly during a few of our recent stays and make us feel like family. Thank you.

I reserved our room online and did not get the room shown in the pictures. When I returned to the front desk they said they realize the pictures are misleading but the room I thought I was reserving was not available that evening and I could check back in the morning to see if I could move rooms. The sushi food truck was outside of our room and the exhaust was terrible for a couple of hours preventing us from opening our sliding door and using our balcony.

I really love this hotel. Unfortunately my last stay was far from what I have experienced in the past. I stayed for one night for a special occasion. I was given a room on the ground floor facing the garden that was located where all of the kids toys are. Not very romantic when you open your patio door and kids are eating lunch on your patio and you want to have an adult beverage. We went to the bar and ordered drinks and the bartender was solo with a full bar. She did her best but she was overwhelmed and having a hard time and nobody helped her. When we got back from dinner and things quieted down we went to enjoy a fire pit and as soon as we sat down an attendant stopped and shut off the fire. 5 min would have been nice but the attendant seemed more interested in getting off his shift. Finally make it back to the room and pull back the sheets and they were dirty. I mean really dirty. After such a long day we just slept on the covers.

Big shout-out to Ray Gonzalez — super attentive and professional! He went out of his way to get us an early check-in, which saved us from having to wander around San Diego until the usual time. Because of him, we got to hit the pool and kick off our trip way ahead of schedule. Also a huge thanks to the staff for finding my credit card and keeping it safe at the front desk — really speaks to how honorable and trustworthy this place is.
