The home is located on Route 20, just south of Charlottesville, at the base of Carter's Mountain. Newly renovated in 2019, this cottage is perfect for Charlottesville visitors wanting a cozy spot close to activities and attractions.
The cottage is convenient to I64 and only 7.8 miles from Downtown Charlottesville. Also close by is Monticello, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Carter's Mountain Orchard and numerous parks and vineyards. Our granddaughter started UVA on a softball scholarship.. It was family weekend. Looking through multiple listings, I found this gem!! We were stunned when we arrived. The attention to detail was amazing!! Pics in listing are spot on. After a day of chaos, at UVA, it was awesome coming home to peace and quiet.. Waking up to the mountains and wildlife while enjoying our coffee was beyond wonderful!!I personally rate this cottage my #1 choice of all the VRBO's of the many we've stayed at!!5 stars to the host!!! We will definitely be rebooking in the near future!!!

What a beautiful property near Charlottesville. It was the perfect setting for a weekend visit to the area. We loved being close to town but having quite and serenity. The house is well appointed and has many extra touches. We can't wait to book again!

Charming Cottage!
This was one of the nicest VRBO's that we have stayed in! Everything about it was wonderful. It was clean, well-appointed, bed was extremely comfortable, communication with the owner was great, and the location was lovely... just a short drive from Monticello, downtown Charlottesville, UVA, and the Blue Ridge Skyline Drive is about 30 minutes away. There are also great restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Home!!
My husband and I enjoyed this home so much! Beautiful location, house is immaculate, communication with owners was perfect! Cannot say enough wonderful things. We booked it again immediately for a trip we having coming in the fall.

Clean and beautiful cottage
Cleanest property we've stayed at in 30+ years of vacation rentals. Everything provided was upscale and in excellent condition. Since we live in a more rural setting, the road noise when outside was noticeable.
