Called on with friends for lunch today. We were all very impressed with the food and service. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Food portions were very generous, specially the fajitas! Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended the Globe. So we will definitely return.

All you could want from an overnight stay. The friendliness of all the staff we met - and we met quite a few - was great. The food was excellent both in the evening and at breakfast, with a very good choice. The variety of the choice at breakfast was remarkable and all good quality. A perfect English country pub. Top marks all round.

Booked a table for late lunch on a Saturday afternoon for two. The restaurant was fairly quiet and service did seem a little slow considering. The staff were welcoming and polite. My husbands burger was nice but nothing outstanding. I chose from the vegetarian and vegan menu , I had mushroom fajitas, a huge portion so much so I could only manage half, very tasty but they accidently put dairy soured cream in a dish with the salsa but they quickly changed this for separate salsa and vegan mayo. Very clean and tidy would visit again and recommend .

Dropped in for lunch after a very disappointing trip to Tiverton canal. The Ducks ditty was shut and the cafe was too busy to serve us lunch. Drove to the Globe and the service was excellent. The guy behind the bar was very helpful and we had a lovely lunch which was served to us very quickly even though they were very busy. We have been many times and will certainly return again

After stopping at a different pub for a coffee, which we felt wasn't that clean, we had booked for a late Sunday lunch at The Globe and immediately picked up on the good vibes coming from it as we took our seats by the window. It was very busy, but there were plenty of staff and we didn't have to wait long. The carvery itself was stunning, plenty of different veg and a generous portion of meat. We felt it was a much better system to have staff serving you (and more hygienic!) as you can have as little or as much as you want just by asking them! We live a couple of hour's drive away, but felt it was such a good meal that we would consider coming back to the area again just for the day!

Hired some bikes today to go along the canal. Rang up the day before and confirmed everything. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Had a lovely ride with our 3yo in a pull along buggy and our 7yo on a mountain bike. Nice easy ride into Tiverton and cafes on the way, but if you want to stay and do the canal a bit more I’d recommend a whole day hire.

We are a family group who stayed at the Globe while attending a wedding nearby. Our booking arrangements were very complicated, with different family members arriving and leaving at different times. This was made more challenging by us all having the same surname! The staff were very helpful with the bookings and changing the rooms at specific times. Everyone was welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the breakfasts are delicious. We all enjoyed our stay!

Despite what one reviewer put I think The Globe does a lovely Fish & Chips. Have never had a bad meal here. I suppose compared to some pubs they don't do an extensive menu but the quality speaks volumes. We had our wedding party here in 2022 and the staff did an excellent job in making it a memorable event for our family and friends. Can't recommend this place enough.

We arrived after an awful journey had pre booked a room but discovered we had booked for next year 🤦♀️ The staff were so helpful and pulled all the stops out to accommodate us. Their rooms were full but one was in the process of being refurbished and was made available to us. Service and hospitality was great made to feel very welcome. Food was amazing too and the breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Lovely people Thank you for accommodating us and making us feel so welcome 👏🏼👍
