"Hello! We stayed at this hotel from July 25th to August 5th, 2025! The hotel is very conveniently located, both to the beach and to the Bus Plana bus stop! It's also very easy to get to the amusement park and the airport! The service is also excellent! The staff is friendly and quickly resolves issues! Everyone goes out of their way! I definitely recommend it! A solid 4-star."

"40 minutes before check-out time a cleaner entered our room without asking if anyone was there or knocking on the door. It seems totally disrespectful to me, I was still only half dressed. Otherwise perfect, food good, facilities too, cleaning good although there were some orange stains on the bidet that rubbed with your finger, which indicates that they have not cleaned it very thoroughly... Also, it is a family hotel, full of children The pool is obviously full of children too, if you have children it is a good place, if not it can be a bit overwhelming."

"This is definitely not a four star hotel. Barely a three. Staff were hit and miss. Some nice others not so nice. Hotel room clean but cleaners were a little slap dash. Beds weren’t made properly if the sheets were pulled up by us. Pool area floor very dirty. Not cleaned properly throughout our stay. Also pool water really warm too. Food was ok, always found something we liked. Chef cooking fish served it partially raw which put me off having fish again which is my go to holiday food. Male receptionist was clueless. Asked about booking excursions and he had no idea what I was talking about. Did enjoy our few days but would not come back."

"Hotel El Paso is close to the park. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant selection is quite extensive, but having only 1 hour for dinner or 40 minutes for breakfast is not enough, especially if you are going with children. There are also long queues to get hot food, so I didn't like that at all. However, it is worth it if you spend two days in the park."

"There is absolutely zero security in this hotel, and the management is incredibly indifferent. During our stay, my 10-year-old child was threatened by an adult guest. When we tried to resolve the situation, the same individual physically assaulted and hit me. Although the police were called to the scene and official action was taken, the hotel management did absolutely nothing to remove the attacker from the premises. They only gave him a 'warning' and completely ignored our life safety. This establishment has zero tolerance policy for safety or customer protection. If you are traveling with children, please stay away. It is a completely unsafe place run by an irresponsible management.""

"We booked this last minute and never having been to Salou were unsure what to expect. It outshone all our expectations. What amazing apartments in a brilliant location. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back. When we arrived at the apartments we were greeted by Angela on reception who was so warm and welcoming she was a joy to speak to. We spoke to other reception staff over our stay and all were very friendly and helpful but special thank you to Angela. We were given the most amazing corner apartment on the 5th floor that had the biggest balcony that wrapped right around the apartment that also had a sea view. The apartment was large and spotlessly clean. It had an amazing amount of storage/wardrobe space. The beds were fabulous and really comfortable. The pool area although small was big enough and there was a life guard on duty at all times. He was not in your face but very alert and in quiet way ensured everyone and everything was ok. It was very reassuring and another very positive point for these great apartments. The Lazy Wave bar/restaurant as part of the apartments was a great area. Food and drink was lovely and the staff again were so pleasant and helpful and great service. The apartments are in a fantastic area, 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and plenty of shops in the vicinity. We all had a great time and can thoroughly recommend CYE Salou and Salou itself. I have already recommended the apartments and Salou to friends and family and will most definitely be back."

"Single room a bit tight. There is no desk but rather an inch of bookshelf. Studded floor. There is no white curtain so if you want privacy you have to put up the opaque one and then you don't see anything inside. Pool view in a corner. Dining room: Dinner, poor ironing and could be improved (maybe that's how someone approaches it). Right starters, 5 meters of counter x 4 salad bowls and 2 individual plates to choose from. Seconds without any grace. Breakfast: The same 5 meters with 4 cold cuts and 4 salads. Waiters "all at once" leaving the carts wherever they want. Clean cutlery next to the dirty glasses to touch. Triumph in the grilled dining room in pancakes, omelettes and fried eggs. Natural juices and pizzas. It wouldn't hurt if those responsible for the food put a little effort into it."

"The staff is very nice and smiling. We were upgraded because the electric charging station was not working. A very nice gesture from the hotel. The spacious room as well as the bathroom. The bedding is comfortable. On the other hand, there is a soundproofing problem, we can really hear the neighbors a lot. There was also a lack of a privacy screen on the terrace to have more privacy with the neighboring room. On the other hand, the breakfast is really very good and varied."

"this hotel is quite good however it was full of kids so not quiet but you can always go to the other pool in the other hotel where the kids were not allowed rooms were average but on this occasion i had a room at the back of the hotel and it was very good for talking to the people opposite about 6 foot from there balcony and directly opposite not ideal loli liked this hotel for the parking which was reasonbly priced for salou but your not able to book it in advance shame overall its value for money about my 3rd visit to this one and i am here again next weekend so its ok cleam rooms friendly staff"

"We booked this hotel earlier in the year and we were really looking forward to it. That was until we came on here and looked at the reviews afterwards, so we were really expecting an awful experience. However, I'm glad to say there was absolutely nothing negative about our stay! * Hotel Location * The hotel is in an ideal location as it is not too far from the beach, bars and restaurants in town, so you are shielded from the noise with the option to go explore jjst a 10 minute walk away. You are also only a 20 minute walk from the Port Aventura Theme Park. *Room* The hotel room was very clean upon arrival, well stocked with fresh towels and toilet rolls every day, as well as the bedding being changed and made. Though we did not require it, a safe is available but this likely costs you extra as there was no key. We just locked our valuables in our case every day (hey, it was free!) It can get rather noisy at night with people coming in and out of their rooms and slamming doors instead of closing them quietly, but that is their fault and not the hotel staff's. I sleep with ear plugs anyway, so this wasn't too much of an issue. *Dining* We were half-board. The reason they request that you bring your paper room card is so that they can mark on your card which of the dining services you have used that day (Breakfast & Lunch, no Dinner // Breakfast & Dinner, no Lunch // Lunch & Dinner, no Breakfast) which is only fair, as you haven't paid for all 3 so shouldn't expect to get all 3. The staff are very attentive, taking drink orders at lunch and dinner (self-service juice and coffee machine not available during these times, breakfast time only) quick to mop up any spills and will clear tables once people are done. It is a buffet during each service, so you should expect to queue for some of it though it doesn't take a long time for you to get your food. There are brief descriptions above each meal choice (chicken, beef, fish etc) and the food is replaced very quickly once empty, so it always feels fresh and hasn't been left lying out for a long time. The types of meals do change every night but the odd staple of chips, bread rolls etc are a daily occurrence. Perhaps they could play some music at a quiet volume to add some ambience, that is my only critique. *Pool* The doors to the pool are not opened until 9am. The pool area's operating hours are 10am until 6pm, though a disclaimer mentions that you can access the pool outwith these hours but it is at your own risk i.e. there is no lifeguard outwith 10am-6pm. The sunloungers are stacked at the end of each day to allow the pool cleaner to jet wash the tiles every morning (this turned out to be necessary when another guest had too much to drink and proceeded to vomit next to their lounger and didn't bother telling any staff) so you will need to grab your own lounger and place it where you like. Thankfully, there were no mad dashes or sunlounger wars we've all become accustomed to seeing on holiday. "
