Hotel Best San Francisco ★★★★
"The facilities were very good, the service was poor, there was a lack of staff, and the buffet food was very basic."
PortAventura Hotel - Includes unlimited access PortAventura Park & 1 access Ferrari Land ★★★★
"The apartment was fantastic! Having two separate toilets and shower rooms was excellent for both adults and children. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was huge. The balcony particularly impressed us, even though the views weren't spectacular – it was still a very pleasant place to relax. The boys even played soccer on the balcony, and at the same time, the adults had plenty of space to enjoy the weather lounging in the sunbeds. A washing machine is a lifesaver for any family on holiday. We were able to wash our sweaty clothes (temperatures were +30-35°C) a couple of times during our stay. Wonderful. We wouldn't have managed without the air conditioning, and fortunately, it was easy to adjust if it got too cold. Yes, the AC worked so well that it could actually get chilly in the summer heat. Our son even caught a slight cold, perhaps from the AC – or something else entirely, who knows. In any case, the apartment's amenities were excellent. We ordered breakfast packs as a service when we booked, and they were indeed plentiful, though a bit different from what we're used to back home in Finland. Spaniards eat a lot of sugar and sweets for breakfast, which was a bit unfamiliar to us, so some of the food went uneaten. The bread was good, although a bit salty (pesto + thick cheese). Overall, a very tasty breakfast on average. I would definitely come back to the same place! P.S. A minor downside was the billing, as when we booked (pay at hotel), our price was 30% cheaper than what the check-in kiosk tried to charge us upon arrival. We didn't accept it, so we didn't complete the check-in at that point, and we were able to resolve the matter with the hotel later on – at the correct price."
Hotel Best Los Angeles ★★★★
"As repeated by many others the main issue that lets this Hotel down is the food. I have a varied appetite but found a few nights nothing was appeasing to the point we would walk in and see what was on offer and then leave and go to one of the many restaurants near-by. Room and the rest of the Hotel was spotlessly clean. We went on the last week of the season so the Hotel was quite quiet but there was some night-time entertainment still on. Ideally placed as you are 2 minutes away from many local bars and restaurants. The Beach is within walking distance as well even for someone with poor mobility like my Wife. If the Hotel could improve the food on offer then i would definitely have given it a higher score."
Hotel Best Oasis Park ★★★★
"Great hotel, staff and location! And fantastic value all inclusive too! Thank you!"
PortAventura Hotel Roulette - Unlimited access to PortAventura Park & 1 access to Ferrari Land ★★★★
"When we first arrived in the room, it had not been cleaned. We had to wait for four hours until it was cleaned after returning from the park. The outdoor swimming pool was out of service for the whole day. The repair kept being delayed, and if it takes much longer, we may consider going to a water park instead. The water supply was suddenly cut off without any prior notification. This was very disappointing and shows poor hotel management."
Num Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is convenient and well located."
Hotel Best Punta Dorada ★★★★
"The hotel has a fantastic location, a perfect resort destination. The breakfast is plentiful, but it doesn't start until 8 am. The only downside is that the whirlpool tub in the room is unusable!"
Hotel Best San Diego ★★★★
"Just got back from our stay at this hotel, and it was our first visit. The hotel is smaller than other hotels I’ve stayed in, but saying that, we always managed to get a sunbed. Location-wise, it’s near a small beach, and there are plenty of bars and shops within walking distance. We were all-inclusive and really enjoyed the food. Every night there’s a different theme in the restaurant, and we enjoyed them all. We especially liked the cheese and ham toasties! The staff are very friendly, and the animation ladies are a real asset to the hotel — always smiling and making an effort. Our room was cleaned every day, and there was a hairdryer and mini fridge in the room. We also had a kettle, but unfortunately there were no cups or teabags. David and the team behind the bar always made us smile. They work long hours, and we really appreciated their hard work. The evening entertainment was mixed. We particularly enjoyed the Brazilian dancers and the bingo! During the day there is music around the pool and the animation team play various games. As for the all-inclusive drinks, we didn’t get any branded drinks, but that didn’t really matter to us. The cocktails are made from a machine, though, so they weren’t the best. There’s also a small book library in the lobby at the back, where the holiday reps’ folders are kept. I only realised it was there on our last day! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable."
Santa Monica Playa ★★★
"The hotel was fine, the staff very friendly. The location was great. The buffet had delicious and varied food. Dinner on Saturday was very good, and Sunday had a special lunch. They should adapt the meal and pool hours to suit Spanish guests, as they close early. We'll be back again."

Hotel Olympus Palace
"Great location for the beach and other amenities. Hotel very clean. Buffet meals average. Stayed in a double room with pool view that had inadequate wardrobe/cupboard space for two adults with clothing for a seven night stay. Evening entertainment not to our taste but other guests seemed to enjoy it. Wi-Fi free but poor signal strength."
Eurosalou & Spa
"Traveled in April, the pool was accessible even though the water was still cold at that time. Friendly staff overall. Cleanliness was generally good, with daily housekeeping. Spacious room, bed not very comfortable due to springs and casters. Smart TV, fridge available, and storage space. However, bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise, as it's not very well insulated. Very good breakfast and evening buffet with plenty of choices (sometimes Halal meat, ask the chef, but he's not always sure of himself). Wellness area with a fee, worth visiting once in bad weather. 10-minute walk from the beach"
Hotel Best Mediterraneo
"We stayed in the hotel as a family of 4 ( 2 adults, 14 year old and 16 year old). Firstly the rooms are tiny, so we upgraded to a rooftop room which had a huge balcony and probably the best view in the hotel. The room was a good size (2 bedrooms and 2 wardrobes). The rooms unfortunately were not the cleanest. The cleaners seemed to straighten the beds and replaced towels for clean ones. The floors were never swept or mopped and they never wiped down. After walking around the room your feet would end up filthy as the floors needed a good mop. I can honestly say they were never swept or mopped in the 2 weeks we were there. I also had ants in my wardrobe and bathroom, despite being on the 7th floor. I mentioned this 5 times to the hotel which advised they would try to sort it but never fully got rid of them. This did slightly frustrate me as we had paid quite a lot to upgrade. I explained that I was unable to use the wardrobe as the ants at one point were in my clothes. The staff were helpful and polite but never actually got rid of them fully. We had a kettle in the room but no cups, so it was a little pointless. The fridge in the hotel was a good little fridge and was extremely cold. The room did have air conditioning (not the best) but better than none at all. The pool area again was not the cleanest where the beds were. The bed never got moved to clean the area, so the same rubbish was there for days. The best thing about the hotel was that there were always beds available and no need to get up at the crack of dawn ready for sunbed wars. Umbrellas were always available but quite a lot of them were broken. As we went half board I can't say what the AI drinks were like. The food was just ok, however I was very happy that I had only booked half board and not AI. The food was not very hot and not the best, so we just ate breakfast and lunch. Normally you would be allowed at least water free for meals when half board but you don't get 1 drink, so you need to pay for water which didn't really bother us but other hotels offer water at least. The staff were friendly and the location was extremely good. The strip is literally a street away, so very accessible. There is a bus down the street to take you to PortAventura but buy a bus pass for 10 euros because it is cheaper. The best place to eat around the area is Antalya11 they do the best Currie's and Doner kebabs. Most places do happy hour around 4-7. There are 2 supermarkets across from the hotel. Over all we had a good holiday because of PortAventura but it isn't somewhere I would like to return to. There is a lot to do around such as bars, restaurants and mini beaches. I would say it would be better for couples alone. This is the second Jet2 hotel we've stayed in and I can honestly say they were both not the cleanest. I honestly think tui hotels are overall a lot cleaner and overall better."

"Everything is fine, this is the first time we've seen such a meager breakfast, there's nothing!!!!"
4R Salou Park Resort II
"Location great and thats where it ends, Booked 3 rooms for 5 people 2 of the rooms were ok, dated but ok. The 3rd room was like a cupboard with no window and a tiny balcony, was told this was because only 1 person was staying in it ( so pay a premium for a single room and get stuck in a cupboard with no balcony) Air con leaking all over the floor in that room too, there was a towel left on the floor to soak it up but all the carpet outside the door was soaking and the floor was flooded with water inside, the only help we got was the maintenance man and housekeeper being sent out several times a day to mop up the water and shove a fresh towel down. Only had breakfast which was poor, everything that should have been hot was cold and was all bland, 1 toaster for the whole hotel which you had to put your bread through twice to get any colour so you can imagine the wait, Pool was scruffy and cold, only has sun until lunchtime then your in the cold, also have to share it with the other guests from resort 1 so not many places to sit. Wifi only works in the reception area, dont bother with entertainment go elsewhere as thats pants. Asked to see a Manager which never happened in the 10 days i was there so probably doesnt exist. Book elsewhere i wish we did!!"

"Great everything"
PortAventura Hotel El Paso - Includes unlimited access PortAventura Park & 1 access Ferrari Land
"this is a nice hotel, and with Port Aventura pass included in its price it gets even better! the room was clean with nice and wide bed, it had a private shower and toilet, which were also very clean. the hotel was renovated long ago and you can see it sometimes bc the wallpapers are dirty at some places and the furniture is not new, but overall it doesn't affect your stay. we used a self-check in machine, so we didn't interact much with the staff, but they were always there for us :) we also had dinner and breakfast included in the price and they were great too, you can see it yourself in the photos! highly recommend, we had a great time!!"

"Just back from a 1-week all-inclusive stay. 2 adults and 3 kids aged 12, 14 and 17. First impression at check-in was chaotic. 2 members of staff doing check-in and 1 member of staff doing check-out, taking keys off guests while the queue was out the door. Check-in was great when we got to the front of the queue, so I guess it was worth the wait. When we arrived, neither of our rooms was ready. We knew they might not be, as we arrived about 11ish. This didn’t stop us from being able to start using the facilities and the all-inclusive services. We chose not to pay for lockers to store our bags, and there was no issue with us sitting with them in the bar while we waited. When we got to our rooms, they were clean and fresh and next door to each other. Glad I saw reviews about power outlets, and we took a 4-bar extension for the 1 power outlet in the room. The pool area we also found to be clean and well-kept. We saw staff often out cleaning and sweeping leaves. Yes, there are pigeons, but we never found them to be a bother; they were just there. There is a small sign that we only noticed 5 days into the holiday saying food should be eaten at the tables and not taken to the sunbeds. We had been eating at the sunbeds, and no one was enforcing this rule. We always cleared up after ourselves and can't say we noticed a big litter issue. There was also always a lifeguard on duty. The first few days, we never struggled to get loungers, but as the week went on and the hotel got a bit busier, we did need to get down before breakfast to secure a bed. There were always activities and stuff going on around the pool for the kids. Our kids never used these as they are a little older, but it was nice to see. There are 2 things that let the hotel down: that's the food and the slow service. We are not a fussy family by any means, but there were a few nights when the hot dinner options just didn't hit the mark. The salad and kids' options were great, but the main food was very mismatched and not very appealing to the eye. We ate out one night, and we never went hungry. The snack options by the pool were fantastic. Chips, pizza, nachos, hotdogs, burgers, spring rolls, toasties, sandwiches, salad, jelly and ice lollies. Always plenty, always fresh. My final issue is the slow service. Please do not mistake this for poor service. All staff we encountered were happy, friendly and great with the kids as well. During the day, there would only be 2 members of staff manning the bar. For a hotel that size, this was clearly not enough staff. The queues at the pool bar could take a while. Overall, clean hotel, friendly staff, great location and we had a really good holiday. I would say 3.5 stars. I've marked up to 4 rather than down to 3."

"Spacious room, great location."
Hotel California Garden
"The location of the hotel was one of the best things about the hotel. When arriving we where greeted with staff who couldn’t talk much english. However when given the room key we was allocated with room 502 which for a 3 star hotel was quite spacious with a good size balcony and facing the pool. However, there was a lot of problems with the hotel. DONT GO TO THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT NICE FOOD. the food was atrocious! The first time we had tea at 19:30-22:00 they where serving raw food. Had the pork and some fish. The fish had bones in and the pork was raw and pink inside it was honestly disgusting. After this we decided to eat out. The breakfast with ok the only good thing about it was the scrambled eggs. Some good places where we ate was: Robin Hood, lazy wave, dubliner, roadhouse. Another problem was the pool. Apart from the size of the pool there was loads of school kids running around and splashing everyone to the point where we hadto tell them off because the lifeguard wasn’t doing anything about it. If you can’t sleep with background noise don’t stay here, once you close the doors to the balcony the air conditioning comes and does make quite a noise. But when you open the door all you here is thumping from the nightclub across the road so in my opinion you can’t win. Apart from this, it was quite clean but had to pay 35 euros for the safe and our room didn’t have a fridge."

"5-minute walk from the beach, which is very clean, sandy and safe with bus stops nearby. The hotel stuff, the service is friendly, the meals are varied and delicious. The rooms are cleaned every day, they have a big balcony. The hotel rooms are quiet."
Ohtels Belvedere
"Location next to port aventura and breakfast are amazing!"
Hotel Best Cap Salou
"The hotel is quite good, the rooms are quite large, the beds are comfortable and the balcony has very nice views. But there are some things to improve in terms of cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, since, for example, the door did not close. Also where the soap was placed was quite rusty. As for everything else, very good. I would highlight the pools, for children they are very fun since there are various slides, in addition to a large pool for adults."
