"This review will be on the long side but it is honest and should serve as a warning to AVOID THIS HOTEL! My husband and I stayed here for approx 3 months. During this time I had to ask for towels and toilet paper daily. The couple who run the front desk Ray and Anna speak very little English and tend to communicate thru a translator app on their phones. They cannot count change back to you correctly either. Beware..my son paid for one night for us and he called to pay on the phone..this was a Friday night. I paid for Saturday and then was blessed by our Pastor on Sunday for the payment. Monday my husband worked and I paid for the next 3 days in cash..I got a receipt but didn't pay attention to the method of payment they put in. They charged my son's debit card again on Monday when I had already paid cash. When my son confronted them the owner of the hotel JAY PATEL cursed him out and called him a stupid American over the phone. Another acquaintance paid for a night for us and they ended up charging her credit card a total of almost 400.00..all unauthorized. Trust me I had already paid my bill at that time. My friend has filed credit card fraud charges with the authorities in her state and has alerted the Sallisaw Police Dept. I paid for 2 nights using my cash app card and Ray ran the card and 2 minutes later another charge from Blue Ribbon Inn came up on my phone for 65.00. They denied ever doing it..said they didn't get the money even though cash app support shows they did. These people are thieves and horrible human beings. The other staff do the best that they can with what they have to work with. Ray waters down the laundry detergent..staff has to buy their own cleaning supplies and it took 3 days to get a lightbulb changed so I could see and even then it didn't work. I owed for 1 day...the bill was due that day and they told us to get out which we were glad to do. If they figure the cash app payment they got off my card I didn't owe anything. If you use a debit card or credit card they will continually charge your card without your permission. Roaches in the room..ice machine hasn't worked in months..no pool Inside. Ray will also open your door and come inside your room..he's done that to a lot of people including me twice. Only good thing about it is the location. Jay Patel probably doesn't even pay Ray and Anna who are his parents. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!"
