Viajero Salento Hostel

Had a great time at Viajero Salento hostel. Very sociable place and always activities going on. The staff were fantastic and really really friendly, especially Valentina and Oscar who always went out of their way to give the guests the best experience possible!

Great place to stay in Salento, with amazing views and easy walk to the town centre. Staff are very helpful, especially Jefer and David at reception who were great at assisting with needs. The breakfast is really good and there are many planned activities if you need something to do as well!

I had a Superior Private room with private bathroom. The room had a balcony (which is shared with other guests, but sectioned off by large pot plants). The balcony provided amazing views of the lush mountains. The bed was fine. The room was quite spacious and there was a large chest to put your luggage either on top or inside. The shower was good and no issues with the hot water. The front desk staff were very friendly and most of them spoke good english. The hostel has regular activities and i enjoyed the dance classes and the “wine and art” session. I booked a 2 hour coffee tour through the hostel and they provided easy instructions on how to get to the plantation via the town “willies”. They also helped to explain how to do the Cocora Valley Hike without doing a tour. There was some slight confusion with my breakfast being included with my room but the staff not only rectified the issue but also made it up to me with some complimentary services. Even if you are not in a private room the views here are amazing. This place has a friendly hostel vibe, but you have the option to just chill out and enjoy the views. I loved it so much i stayed an extra 2 days!
