A nice hotel but the service remains an opportunity

Not bad bedsheets are not 100% cotton not that comfortable . I can’t consider it as 5 star hotel

Share many of the same sentiments as others: Pros: -great location and views -very friendly staff -nice decor -great bar Cons: -rooms a little worn -shower doesn’t drain well -mosquitos (but not their fault)

Luxurious property with a very nice and clean pool. The staff were very helpful and friendly but would forget stuff you asked for or would have trouble understanding you in English. The bar adjacent to the building was noisy at nights for a family with a small baby but would be a nice place to go for a young couple. The restaurant is not the best either, it is very expensive with mediocre service.

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Dawliz Rabat Hotel from June 28 to July 4, 2025 (going on), after booking a room for myself and my wife via *********** back in March. From the very moment we arrived, the experience was a disaster. We got to the hotel at around 21:30 after a long journey from Valencia to Madrid and then to Rabat. To our shock, the front desk told us there was no reservation under my name, despite me showing them my confirmation email. We were made to stand in the lobby with no air conditioning in over 30°C heat for nearly an hour while the staff fumbled around calling and checking—completely disorganized and unapologetic. Eventually, they gave us a room (1229), and things only got worse from there. The AC in the room didn’t work at all, and the room was suffocatingly hot. I immediately informed the reception, and their ridiculous advice was to “leave the AC running and wait.” I waited for hours—nothing. My wife, exhausted from the trip, had to fall asleep in that unbearable heat. At 2:00 AM, they finally decided to move us to a different room (1204), so I had to wake my wife up and move all our belongings in the middle of the night. That level of service is simply unacceptable. The next day, I asked for an iron THREE TIMES before they finally sent one. I also requested laundry service and asked for two shirts to be ironed and returned the same day for a wedding that evening. No one ever came to pick up the clothes, so I had to carry them down myself, and despite assurances, they never brought the shirts back. I ended up wearing a backup shirt I had. As if that wasn’t enough, the shower had serious drainage issues—every shower left a pool of water that wouldn’t drain properly. The breakfast was bland and poorly presented, and let me repeat: this is supposedly a 5-star hotel with NO AIR CONDITIONING in the main lobby, which is beyond belief in the summer heat of Rabat. Dawliz Rabat is disorganized, unprofessional, and absolutely not worthy of its rating or price tag. This was a complete disappointment and ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
