I actually stayed in Juweira hotel (adults only), because Rotana was overbooked. I'm glad that I stay in Juweira - it was calm, clean, food was good without waiting lines. Special thanks to Ann - Rotana's manager, very professional, who helped me with Juweira booking and introducing these hotels area. I had breakfast and lunches in Rotana- It was good, good choice and good food. Hope to come back one day:)

Amazingly Rotana

Good property but cleanliness need to taken care of. Lighting in room could be better. Perfect ambience for family vacation.

The best hotel ever

I stayed for three days and two nights and didn't meet a single Asian person... This is amazing in this era. I was eating at the restaurant next door and chatting with the owner. A Czech who had been to Xiamen for three years said that he could meet about 10 Chinese people every year. They were all Europeans, and there were almost no Americans. Many people couldn't speak English when communicating. The resort is very large, with good check-in service. There is a shuttle bus to the room and introduce the park and activities. There is a free water park to go to, but it is closed on Sundays and Mondays. There are also some other activities. The resort is connected to the surrounding villa park and is very large. The hotel's beach area is very long and the surfing is great. On the first day, we encountered a strange tide, which was filled with countless lively Antarctic krill and large conchs. The breakfast was good. There was fried beef and mushrooms on the first day and fried chicken liver on the second day.

Beautiful and comfortable environment

The scenery of the hotel is so beautiful. If only we could set it up as a separate resort in China.

The hotel room is very new, the service of the seaside hotel is also very good, it is very clean, but it is a bit humid, which is also related to the local weather

This was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. Staff were shockingly rude—especially Ann and Mohamed at the front desk. They showed zero empathy toward my pregnant wife. The room was far from reception, and the call center ignored all our pre-arrival requests. When we asked for a late check-out due to my wife’s condition, they kept changing their response from 2 to 2:30 to 3 with clear rudeness. No concern for her health—only cold, unprofessional behavior. Absolutely not recommended. Rotana should be ashamed.

The Salalah Rotana Resort is a sprawling complex with plenty of friendly staff who take good care of guests. While the resort itself may not be the newest, the spacious rooms with terraces are clean and well-maintained. The technical problem with the door was immediately solved by the called personnel. The restaurant and pool areas as well as the beach with sun loungers have sufficient capacity. There is also a nice selection of refreshments on the beach during the day. Breakfast and dinner offer a wide selection of dishes. It is important to remember that we are not in Europe, but in an Islamic country. The nice thing about Oman is the local authenticity. Many of the entertainment programmes are designed especially for children. But adults will enjoy them too. Attractive excursions are completely trouble-free thanks to the safety of the country. Car rental at the hotel is very cheap. On the contrary, the offer of optional excursions by the delegate of the travel agency was quite expensive. The stay in Rotana Salalah, the beautiful sea with its rich fauna and the natural beauty of Oman certainly met our expectations.

This was our fifth great stay at Rotana Salalah. Great service, which created a wonderful atmosphere - thanks to Mrs. Bindu and the whole Team. Great location, beautiful beach, weather, peace and unforgettable atmosphere. Very good cuisine - the Chef and his Team cook wonderfully. Paradise... We will definitely come back again.

Really nice resort. The amenities are great and people are really friendly. Restaurant Arabesque has good food and nice people. Chef Isa is really friendly and made a really nice meal. The beach has really soft sand. The resort is connected to other hotels that you can go and eat there or enjoy the pool.

Rotana resort in Salalah is very well located - approximately 30 minutes from the airport by the bus which is great. The city centre of Salalah is around 20 minutes if you go by car (or local cabs which can be found ight in front of the hotel - the receptionist can provide that). Nearby the resort is other hotels which are completing a big complex of resorts with beautiful beach, shops, incredible sea and the kindest people you can think of. The resort also includes aquapark for kids, tennis playground or local fishing. The room was kept clean the whole time and everytime we needed something the staff provided it quickly without any further complications (for example an extra towel). The surroundings are calm, all you can hear from outside is the sea splashing into the coast (we had a room with a sea view, keep that in mind). In Rotana there are a lot of restaurants you can choose from, if you are a “club person”. We recommend every single one of them, but personally we enjoyed Beach bar restaurant, the most! However during our stay everyone was friendly to us, always welcoming and happy to help. People, who are working at Rotana are happy to be there and will provide you an amazing service. Special thank you goes to Bindu, Nia & Snow from Beach bar restaurant - I’ve never felt so welcome during my stay somewhere. They made every day special and cherished and I will always remember them as the kindest human beings. Bindu, Nia & Snow please know that we miss you and we hope to see you soon!
