Sea Palms Resort St. Simons Island

We booked a king room with a balcony and paid the deposit. When we arrived, we were put in a queen room with no balcony. When I asked for the room we booked, customer service told me no change allowed. My husband finally wasted two hours with customer service to get the room we booked. (And we missed our dinner reservations!) The floor of our room was so dirty that our feet were black. We could not even walk in a nearly $300/night room without shoes on. I went to the customer service and asked for four towels/four washcloths. Waited 1.5 hours and still no towels. Called to remind and towels arrived, yet only one washcloth. Geez. There was blood on the wall of our bathroom. Room service never arrived. Our trash was overflowing, We had to use Kleenex as toilet paper because we ran out. When we opened the door to checkout, there are a bag of towels laying outside our door. A bit too late, sigh. I would not recommend Sea Palms to anyone.

Room was nice except mold in shower. Property had trash going between buildings and laundry/ice area smells. And pet fee is too high. I almost could have paid a little more and got our pet his own room

Not recommended. There are much better resorts available. Bed was uncomfortable Room was not very clean No breakfast Conference room chairs were very uncomfortable Cleaning Parking was horrible and even had to park offsite. Food at lunch was mediocre

I was here for a school safety conference Very nice events center, great staff, clean restrooms, beautiful grounds! They served a deliciously lunch both days. Venue was a little crowded with all we had going on, but the presentations worked well no buffering or sound issues.

Was informed upon check-in that the pool/tiki bar was closed for a private event. Although we were offered passes to another resort's pool, that resort was 15+ minutes away and not convenient or feasible for us due to having early dinner reservations. Had I known that the pool/tiki bar would be closed, I would have booked at another resort. In addition, I paid for a "sea/bay view" room which we were not given. Instead, we had a view of the golf course/lagoon. The resort was nice overall, but the above factors would prevent me from staying here again.

Excellent stay with a beautiful marsh view at at Saint Simons Island. The spa was a great relaxing experience, and the resort room was very clean and spacious. The pool area was super clean and nice. Highly recommended its the best place on the island.
