Unfortunately a place stuck in the past — inhospitable — unaccommodating to those with special needs. Total disregard for the ADA but the lack of friendliness even started before trampling on the federal law. The front desk had the nerve to ask about the disabilities of someone in our party & scolded us for not informing them of the disability in advance. Shocking in 2024. We did not stay and went back to a nicer property down the road that is always welcoming and perfectly hospitable.

Outstanding.....they even brought us a bottle of Champagne for our Anniversary......quaint little Inn, lovely, the beds were so comfortable, I didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back....thank you for this perfect little one night getaway......and the snacks were good, they have a lovely bar and really nice complimentary breakfast which we didn't have time to experience but next time.....

This hotel came highly recommended, and it lived up to the recommendations. It is in a great location, the rooms are lovely, the main cottage where breakfast is served is charming, and they offer great perks like towels and beach chairs you can check out for the beach. The rooms are very clean and they had great bedding and towels. The only thing preventing it from being 5 star was the staff. The woman who checked us in was charming, and while other staff members were efficient, they just were not very friendly. Because this hotel has such an air bnb vibe, it would have been nice if the employees went the extra mile to make you feel more welcomed. Still, all in all just a great place to stay for the money, and in walking distance of shops and restaurants.

This inn is dated but the rooms have been renovated. Website pictures a little deceptive. The Inn is not as nice. Our room was adequate for two people. Breakfast was very basic and the same every morning. Housekeeping was not great but the inn removed our amenity fee for one night to compensate for the poor housekeeping service one day. The best part of the inn is the location. Very close to restaurants, the pier and light house. We also appreciated the beach gear available to guests (chairs, umbrellas, cooler). If you’re looking at Golden Isles, I would recommend staying on Jeckyll Island instead. Nicer hotel options from what we saw. I was disappointed I didn’t stay there.

We stayed with our daughter and son-in-law at the Village Inn and Pub for 2 nights in early May. It is a very quaint hotel reminicent of hotels in New Orleans with the rounded balconies and spanish moss hanging in the trees on the propery. The room was clean and nice and the bed and pillows were comfy. The pub has a lot of fun activities all the time, but we didn't have much of a chance to participate because we were there to see our granddaughter. The owners welcomed us and even let our daughter check us in before we got there. It's in a great location on the island of St. Simons, within walking distance of the village and lots of good restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to people traveling to that part of the country.

On a walk around town one evening we were looking for a laid back place to grab a drink and enjoy soaking in the island life. We stopped in at the Village Inn, and it was a nice stop. The music was a little loud, but it was live music with a guy playing, even though it was loud, it wasn't obnoxious. Drinks were good and not unreasonable priced. The location is great, just a few blocks from the lighthouse area.

We received a warm welcome, from Donna, upon entering to register. She talked about the Inn’s amenities and taught us the most important thing-how to operate the amazing coffee maker! Our room was beautifully appointed with quality furniture and a comfy bed and pillows. I chose the Inn because of the ability to walk to pier village’s shops and restaurants, and private off street parking behind the pub. We truly enjoyed the Iguana Restaurant for food and drinks during the college basketball games, too. The Inn has entertainment in the pub over the week-end. Breakfast, which was included, was fruit, pastries, a hot item, and make your own waffle. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful room with leather reading chair, cuddly throw, 4 lamps, gorgeous mirror over writing desk, multi input phone charger on each night stand….and a lovely breakfast of spinach croissants, quiches and fresh fruit. Oh…and a happy hour with $4 glasses of wine. This place is one of the best!

A great little inn within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our room was great…. Nicely decorated, very clean, with great amenities… chocolates on our bed, mini bar, espresso machine. Continental breakfast is good and the pub on site is fun… happy hour is great and they have live music. I would highly recommend this Inn. Would love to return.
