Location is outside of Bayeux, which is a short drive away. So you will need to drive to stay here. A great value chateau lodging otherwise with great breakfast. Room is comfortable and spacious.

What a lovely stay in Bayeux! The Château de Damigny was perfect for our visit to Normandy. This 19th century château is charming and well-kept. Our host Vincent was AMAZING! We had an early start for our guided tour, and he had an incredible breakfast ready just for us! Delicious crepes with all of the fixings, as well as a spread of breads, cheeses, meats and fruit. We can't forget to mention the fresh squeezed juices! The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed having a visit with the cows next door. The French countryside was a perfect setting for sampling some local bread, cheeses and wine.

Lovely old chateau and enjoyed our two nights staying here. Easy to get to from the ferry at Caen and only a few minutes from Bayeaux and the associated museums. If you stay when they cook an evening meal I would highly recommend it as it was an excellent Normandy meal.

Beautiful chateau wonderful room to stay in with friendly and welcoming hosts. The breakfast was sensational offering a buffet of crepes, croissants, toast, cereals and continental options. Lovely grounds and the bed was so comfortable. Amazing bath too for a relaxing end of your day. I would highly recommend for couples who want some peace and quiet very close to Bayeux and the D day beaches.

Chateau de Damigny is both historic and hospitable! Vincent and Corinne are your lovely hosts. So much character with large, well appointed rooms and many thoughtful touches. Breakfast is a smorgasbord with breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, crepes- delicious! Not far from things of interest in Bayeux; the Chateau is peaceful and a wonderful place to recharge.

Excellent accomodation in a beautiful setting. We had pre-booked th evening meal which was delicious, with some very nice wines. Breakfast was sublime, one of the best I have ever had. It was so good my Dad left his phone in the hotel by mistake and the owners kindly posted it back to us here in the UK. Really good accomodation.....
