Azureva Les Menuires

A big thank you to the azureva les menuires team for their warm welcome and their availability. A residence ideally located in the heather district, quiet and with direct access to the slopes. In addition, the view of the slopes of La Masse is magnificent. We will definitely come back.

Being regulars at Les Menuires, we didn't know about this residence which is ideally located in the resort. Here are the positive and negative points of this residence: Positive points: - located in the heather district, the residence is close to various shops such as intersport for ski rental, Sherpa for grocery stores, restaurants, cinema, ski school and slopes and 10 minutes walk from the Croisette (central point of the station). - departure and return on skis depending on the snow conditions, otherwise plan to walk 50 meters so it's okay. - paid underground parking but be careful not to have a roof box, height of 2 meters remember. - We had the mezzanine accommodation with the adult bedroom on the mezzanine and the children's bedroom with bunk beds downstairs. Very well equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker....as well as hair dryer in the bathroom. On the negative side, the steep staircase which leads to the mezzanine with steps of 50 cm by 22 cm deep, i.e. only 11 cm for placing your feet, is really not great especially at night if you get up to go to the little corner . Also poor reception of wifi and TV, TV that we regret not having in the main room....For my part this is a detail not being on vacation to watch TV but hey.... - The ski lockers are large and heated, around 10 per room so you can put on your shoes without the crowds. - Elevator. - Quiet overall except when some people speak loudly but hey....question of education. - Friendly and smiling staff. - Firm bedding, you don't wake up with back pain and that's nice. On the other hand, the sheets are horrible. - Plenty of storage space, which is useful for storing all your belongings and suitcases. On the negative points: - Stairs to the mezzanine not great, you must not be fat or too tall, you must hold yourself well, not recommended with young children. - The bed sheets.....frankly we preferred a bed cover. For the double bed the sheet is too small you have to constantly redo it and at night everything comes off and it's annoying. The pillows aren't great either, luckily the firm mattress saves all that. You don't have to be tall because there is a stop at the end of the bed which may not be suitable for tall people (I'm 170 cm tall). - The bathroom, for which we would have liked to have towels rather than bringing our own. But the problem is the poor ventilation of it. If you take a hot shower (logical in winter), in addition to going under the bath screen and wetting the entire floor, condensation forms on the ceiling which beads up with a multitude of drops of water causing mold and peeling paint. It’s a shame for housing. - If there are ski lessons in Les Bruyères you will have to walk with young children who are beginners not fo

The person at the reception was very helpful and pleasant. The studio was clean and corresponded in every way to the description including the location "close to the slopes" if not on the slopes so top! The shops are 2-5 min walk. Free and easy to find outdoor parking.
