Radisson Hotel St Louis Downtown Convention Center

Two of the main things I looked for when booking was a pool and free parking. The pool was indoors which was fine. Was surprised to see how small it was and was a big let down that it was so freezing we couldn’t enjoy it at all. So it was a let down that one of the main reasons I booked here we didn’t get to use the pool. This place does have newer furniture in its rooms but the floor throughout and the furniture it the lobby is just stained up and dingy. The signs on 1st floor for ice machine/vending are wrong. Asked a rude house keeper that was upset bc I guess I interrupted her cleaning. She had told me it was around the corner…. The out of order machine was on the other side of the building. I finally found me an ice machine on next floor. The people at the front desk are very nice and courteous. Really nice. But wish they had explained more on their parking so that I didn’t end up with a ticket each day I was there. So they have no free parking lots at the moment. You either have to park in their drop off zone are a section of street parking on the side. The other lots available you have to pay per day. Due to this I found a spot on the side (side street parking as they suggested) and I didn’t move my car. I kept it there the entire time and walked everywhere I needed to go. Well when I went to leave I had parking tickets racked up for several days. I went in and asked them if that was there parking as told previously and they said yes. I told them about the tickets and they said it was managed by the city and u have to back in or get a ticket. That would be nice to know when you offer that as a parking suggestion. I go out to lot to see if there was a sign. There was a sign many spots down that in the direction I was coming from wouldn’t have seen. I also looked all almost every vehicle was parked wrong way so obviously they weren’t told or didn’t see sign either. I started warning those I could. $30 a day ticket city it making a lot of money of that small parking section from out of towners etc that don’t know ST Louis parking laws …. The hotel won’t warn u of this and they know. Besides these couple things everything else was good.

Worst hotel I ever stayed. Looked good in the pictures but the reality was shocking. So disappointed from the first step in the lobby…Dirty bedding sheets out on the hallway and the staff didn’t care when I told them, our bathroom was dirty too and door broken so I asked for another room, some of the staff they just don’t care. I took my family out of there at 4am. I don’t recommend this place.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! It is no longer a Holiday Inn but now The Arch Convention Hotel. This property is horribly managed and in terrible condition. My room didn’t even have a smoke detector — just exposed wires where one had clearly been removed, which is a major safety violation. There was no housekeeping service, no Wi-Fi, and I was given only two thin towels, two washcloths, and one hand towel to last three nights. When I requested more, the staff was polite but it took 40 minutes for the towels to arrive. On the second day, I had to flush a cockroach down the toilet. The electrical outlets were unsafe — one had a broken plug piece sticking out near the light switch, and I had to be careful not to shock myself when turning on the bathroom light. The floor was clearly unclean. From the desk chair, I could see trash under the bed. The so-called “restaurant” is supposedly closed for renovation, but there’s no sign of any work being done. The bedsheets were stained with body oil, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. When I complained, they offered only a $50 credit on a $700 stay. There was no manager on-site despite being told one would be available later — which turned out to be untrue. When the manager finally called, he refused to listen and hung up on me. This hotel is unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

So many bad things at this hotel which is next to the convention center, and is called a conference center hotel. This place is like a cheap budget motel. - website said there is parking for $40/day. They don’t even have a parking lot or garage. Luckily I used spot hero and parked in a garage a few blocks away. -the first room I was assigned had a leaky shower. It was pretty loud so I went and asked for another room. -the next room also had a leaky shower and a running toilet that was very loud. -Room 3 had a less leaky faucet so I kept it, but the mini fridge was left open so it was not cold. I had brought some food. -restaurant was closed for Construction and there was no breakfast at all so no food anywhere. Not many places close enough to walk to. -hotel lobby and rooms were just generally not very clean. -on my final morning there was no hot water coming out of the shower.

First off. No parking, lobby was hot like no a/c was working, restaurant was shut down, got our room it was decent, bathroom light didn’t work. They fixed it immediately though. Only enough towels for 2 people to shower. We had 2 adults and 2 children. Went to the pool. It was hot once again like no a/c working. But the water in the pool was so cold you couldn’t get in it. And it was so chlorinated that you couldn’t see past the surface. Went back to the room and got showers. A/c in room didn’t work very well but was good enough. No breakfast options in the morning. But could by snacks and drinks in the lobby. Very over priced for some bulk buying from Sam’s. Paid way too much for the quality of the hotel. Won’t go back next time.
