Stunning, immaculate house elegantly renovated . Peaceful setting with extensive gardens, a hot tub, swing and outside seating. Parking is also within the grounds. Having our continental breakfast overlooking the gardens and seeing the peacocks roam was a lovely sight first thing in the morning. The owners, one French and one English are delightful, incredibly helpful and hospitable. The location is 30 minutes from Calais and only 2 miles from Boulogne town centre, both of which are very easy by car/great roads. Supermarkets are nearby as is the road to Rouen. Highly recommended and we intend to return.

Mooi gebouw, tot in de kleinste details heel succesvol renenoveerd. Aangename ontvangst. Kamers picobello in orde. Genoten van een lekker ontbijt op het terras en ook van een kopje thee/ apero in de prachtige tuin. Keuken ter beschikking om te koken of je zelfgekochte hapjes en apero te bewaren. De pauw Leon is de sierlijke kers op de taart. Aanrader!

Un week end en amoureux dans un grand espace extérieur très soigné entre lieux de détente et arbres fruitiers, ainsi que les paons et un intérieur tout aussi jolie et plein de charme pour la nuit. Sans oublié l’accueil chaleureux de l’hôte. Je recommande

Maison superbe, de caractère et restaurée avec goût et tout le confort moderne, ce qui est remarquable quand on sait l'énergie qu'il faut pour moderniser un bâtiment historique. La chambre était splendide et confortable, bien insonorisée au surplus. Les hôtes sont charmants et aux petits soins : que demander de plus ? Il ne manquerait qu'une vue mer ou une piscine pour les beaux jours et en repartirait plus ! Pas de doute : nous reviendrons.

Lovely stay at Maison Grandsire Chambres D'Hotes - spacious, comfortable rooms, very welcoming hosts, and a lovely setting. Quiet surroundings and very peaceful in the mornings. Nice to have a later (1200) checkout. Easy to get to by car and a short drive/ taxi into town.

Lawrence and Nicholas were excellent hosts during our 4 night stay. The accommodation was very good, the beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped and cosy. A lovely Continental breakfast was provided each morning and a well equipped kitchen was available if we wanted to use it to cook in the evening. The grounds were extensive and although not used there is a hot tub, a barbeque and a terrace. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and will be returning.

Having stayed last May we returned in November to celebrate a friends milestone birthday, and again in December on our way back from the Christmas Market in Lille. Our three visits to this elegant residence which has been restored and decorated to a very high standard by the excellent, friendly hosts were truely unforgettable. The rooms are extremly comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. And, the extensive grounds, complete with hot tub (in season) and resident peacocks, are magnificent. Breakast consists of an extensive choice of mainly local produce with butter and eggs from the hosts family farm. We look forward to our next visit to this superb residence whose owners clearly know how to run a successful establishment. This is a rare find located just a short drive from Boulogne sur Mer. If you are looking for a peacful and relaxing stay in a tranquil setting then look no futher.

Ancienne demeure rénovée , elle se situe loin de la route et se retrouve donc au calme. Il y a un parking privé , ce qui est un plus . La chambre est grande et il y a une belle salle de bain avec baignoire "pieds d'aigle" à l'ancienne . Le petit bémol est le manque de convivialité , en effet , les propriétaires n'habitent pas la maison et quand vous arrivez , il n'y a personne . Il faut attendre et c'est plutôt bizarre . Le petit déjeuner du matin est très copieux , il y a beaucoup de choix .

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un cadre magnifique. Laurence et Nicolas sont des personnes très gentilles, serviables et attentives. La chambre, ainsi que le petit déjeuner, étaient parfaits. Le bâtiment est très beau, avec un grand jardin, équipé d'un jacuzzi et de chaises longues, où l'on peut profiter du silence. Pour nous, sportifs, c'était l'idéal, marche, randonnée, vélo, une bonne base pour l'intérieur des terres et la région côtière. Il est certain que nous reviendrons. Hautement recommandé. Cindy
