Hyatt Place St Augustine/Vilano Beach

We had a great experience all around

Wonderful trip for relaxing. Room was better than most, quite large and comfortable. Breakfast daily was above average with great flavor. Roof top bar was an excellent place for cold beverage . The service retrieving your vehicle was very quick. All the employees seemed to like their job and they were friendly and helpful. We will certainly return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Vilano Beach. It was a close walk to a beautiful, clean beach. We were told the pool wasn’t warm, but turned out it was! We skipped swimming because we weren’t aware until it was too late. The breakfast was great and well stocked. We paid a little extra for a balcony but the view wasn’t good. Don’t waste your money on a balcony. We paid for valet parking which ended up not being necessary. There is plenty of street parking. It was overall a clean hotel and very friendly staff.

The Hotel is about 2 years old and is in a good spot near the beach and a Publix. I love how the rooms are wood floor and no carpet. The only thing I didn’t like was the walking distance from the lobby elevator to my room.

Some front desk staff acted like they did not want to work there. Kim at the front desk however was the best with a very customer oriented attitude. Noise was constant and do not take room facing road . Traffic constant especially in the early morning. Room staff was very good and friendly. Outrageous parking fee $25 per night plus taxes and forced to pay for their parking . Overnight street parking not allowed . Have to use their parking garage with mandatory valet. Very unreasonable fees . I would not put this Hyatt high on my list to re5urn.

Excellent hotel and staff. John at the front desk is amazing, helpful, friendly and all about making the stay memorable. Valet team and housekeeping staff are incredible. We will be back for a 4th visit.
