This hotel could do better for the price. 1. Lack of parking, they charged for parking & when when there wasn’t any spots open, had to park in secured Lot across the busy street during the day/evening. Which is ok…But come on 2. Ice Machine very dirty, slimy on the grate to hold the small bucket. 3. No towel rack to hang up your wet towels to use again, at least for a day. We stayed 2 nights.

There are a lot of things to like about this hotel. It very clean and welcoming. The morning staff at front desk is extremely nice and always greets guests with a warm "hello". It's close to "everything" that is St. Augustine as I was able to walk south to the main part of town, or north to Stop #1 on the trolley station. I also found a nice place for breakfast up the street on Old Mission at Farmhand KCHN where I was able to have a nice breakfast for less money than the buffet at Doubletree. The only issue I had was the bed. It was way to soft and left me with a backache after my tree day stay. Otherwise I would have rated the hotel a 5.

The Best Service we have ever experienced at any hotel. Immediate response when ever I asked for extra towels. No more than 5 minutes between a call about the TV and the arrival on the technician to fix it. Same quick response when I could not figure out how to change the refrigerator temperature. Great location, service and accommodations for a reasonable price. Check in was a breeze, front desk staff were informative, friendly and accommodating. Rooms were ready at check in, very neat and clean. There are several reviews complaining about lack of hot water. We did not find this to be the case. Our friends even commented that the water in their room was actually too hot. While we did not eat in the hotel restaurant, the bar was a great meeting place offering well made cocktails and conversation. Hotel is in a very walkable location convenient to restaurants, hop on hop off and historic downtown St Augustine. If you are looking for a clean, pet friendly hotel, in a good location, great staff, at a reasonable price, DoubleTree is the one for you.

Very Poor. Hot Water was unreliable. We were promised free breakfast and free parking was covered. We made the reservation through the hotel. Very, very unhappy.

Customer service was outstanding from the front desk, bartender and housekeeping staff. Unfortunately there was very limited handicap parking AND during our three day stay we never had hot water for any showers whatsoever (yes the entire stay). Seems to be a major issue that is ongoing at this hotel for quite some time. We also lost our son due to a traffic crash on our first day there so we were preoccupied with that tragedy to deal with it. I suggest contacting the hotel to see if the hot water issues have been repaired before you book. Showers with hot water are pretty important after sweating in St Augustine heat. If you are handicapped or have mobility issues, I also suggest you try to arrive super early because you will not find a handicap space to park. I am only partially weight bearing in a boot opting to pay for an Uber to go places instead of driving our rental.

Nice but hells bells what it is Hilton having block hard beds it’s like sleeping on concrete. They could use medium form beds!
Also it was the first time for us that you had to pay for your continental breakfast at $17 to boot. That was very disappointing. And if you want no sleep find a Hilton with softer beds. As none of us slept well with Rock hard mattresses.
And they charge $25 a day paring in their own parking lots.
Other than that the staff was amazing and place was very clean.
