Wonderful hotel. It's in a remote location, so I recommend having your own car to get there and to explore the area if that’s what you’re looking for.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was really helpful and accommodating to vegetarian guests like me. They even took us to a nearby coffee shop (U Terrace, which I strongly recommend) in their own car.
The food is tasty, and both breakfast and dinner are included.
There is free rafting available in an amazing location, and the swimming pool is great.

The Wang Nok Kaew Park View is a beautiful mid-range hotel. It is designed exclusively for Thai guests. Hardly anyone speaks English. Meals are served buffet-style, consisting of typical Thai dishes. There are no à la carte or Western menus. However, the meals are good to very good if you enjoy Thai cuisine. The bungalows and rooms in the upper class are adequately equipped. The lower class rooms are not necessarily suitable for Westerners, as the amenities do not meet Western tourists' expectations. At night, water is released from the reservoir further upstream, causing the river level to rise significantly and the flow rate to increase dramatically. This can be a source of discomfort on the first night, as the staff fails to inform you of this. Despite these minor shortcomings, a stay at this hotel is definitely recommended.
