Very bad experience when i came to check in the whole staf was busy in Group Check in and i ws ask to wait No one giving attention to other Guests . The service is zero , first they denied that they do not have reservation after wasting my time i was ask to wait until group check done the room was decent but my check in experience very bad that was my first and last stay

We were travelling from Delhi to Shimla, using the “toy train” from Kalka as the last part of the journey. Not wanting to cover the whole distance on the same day, we elected to stay in the Chandigarh area after flying from Delhi before continuing onward the following day. The Ginger Hotel, part of the IHCL/Taj Group, was a well placed intermediary stop - 13 km from the airport and 30km to Kalka station - and provided a clean, welcoming oasis for both the outward and return travels. Situated a couple of hundred metres from National Highway 44, the hotel was unaffected by traffic noise and provided a peaceful haven with a restaurant offering predominately Indian cuisine. All staff were welcoming and helpful - for example, booking taxis for our onward journeys from the hotel with guidance on the maximum prices that we should be paying. The restaurant staff were similarly of great assistance, adding that they thought we were ordering too much at dinner (correctly so) and pointing to special 2-for-1 offers on beers. The only issue was they wanted to keep feeding us with a variety of foods at breakfast but in so doing they ensured that we did not need to eat until the evening!!! If making the same journey in future, I would have no problem with planning to stay at the Ginger Hotel.

Nice hotel with good food. Recommended for stay. Please plan your visit to it hotel. It is on main road and accessible to nearby locations for outings. Various other outlets are nearby for shopping eating etc and good parking space. Encouraged by staff behavior.

They provide us a great hospitality.. very hygienic food quality was great. It was really best option on Delhi Chandigarh Highway.. I really appreciate the room service also coming from long journey in late hours and staying in good place is much required.. Thanks for your great services

Basic amenities like dental kit is chargeable there. Hotel reception guy doesn’t even bother if we raise a concern.

All good staff named Kiran and rakesh are very good polite in nature. Rooms are good well maintained. Our stay was good. They have have buffet for lunch and dinner in the ground floor. Rooms are specious. We booked executive suite. Design was good

Very nice hotel with huge car parking and very nice breakfast. Hotel has good staff Kiran, Subhash and Rakesh. And is located at a very prime location with good outlets nearby. Like McDonald's KFC decathlon Hamleys. Room and it's facilities are very good
