Super hospitable home stay, but your own room.
We had the best single-night visit to this tiny hotel. Coffee available all the time. Personalized breakfast for us spread outside with a perfect view. Huge rooms and jacuzzi style tubs made for a relaxing welcome. Directions to the restaurant we chose for dinner. Highly recommend staying at this friendly female proprietor’s bed and breakfast. She has a gift of hospitality that all visitors will enjoy!

Disappointing
No one was there when we arrived 15 minutes after two hour anticipated window for arrival. It was then hard to contact anyone. We had trouble finding the place since GPS location was iffy. Only with local help could we find it. When they finally got there, people were helpful. The room way beautiful, but stayed moist and not fully comfortable. Be warned, there are many stairs to get to hotel and in town generally. The host was not on site. Breakfasts were very good. This is not a place to be anonymous.

Fair not great.
The inn has a lot of potential if the owners improve comfort, service and food. Breakfast was not well organized, part self-service and part-served with only instant coffee. The room was promised with a private patio whose access was through a modified window and offered torn and dirty chairs. Would not stay here again on next visit.

Depuis le changement de proprio, les petits dejeuners sont très maigres, peu variés et pas de refill.

Don't go there for the weekend
The room was very nice and with a lovely small garden.
But that is it...
Would have been nice if the listing had stated that there was now service or reception on Friday/Saturday.
The receptionist didn't know how to take payment so we had to pay by BiT and could not get a receipt.
There was no one there at check out and no one to speak to.
The TV didn't work properly

Amazing place to stay! Location in Tzfat is great, place is very clean and homey. Our hosts are friendly, welcoming and very attentive to our needs. Each room is differently decorated and comfortable. I highly recommend the Artist Colony Inn. And I agree with our hosts, Shlomo and Leah, Tzfat and the roads to get there, are safe.
