Sehr schönes, grossartig gelegenes Hotel! (Direkt an der Skipiste) Reichhaltiges Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal. Wir hatten ein sehr sauberes, grosses Zimmer mit Sicht in die Berge! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!!

Unfortunatelly my experience with Amber hotel was not a good one. I ve made my reservation same day as my arrival and i must say i congratulated myself that i ve booked only one night,instead of two. Pick up from parking lot was easy(in Saas Fee cars are not allowed, so you have to leave your car in their Parking place:costs, about 14-19swiss francs for one night, if you stay one week, do the math ), and then you are picked up with an electric car. Arrival at the Hotel:Reception was polite,the check-in was fast, and I was given the key to the room 301.Till then, all ok. I enter my room:defenately not the room in The Photos.Dated furniture, strange bathroom inside a wood house,an oldish couch, red(!!!), plastic window sheets,and a table with two chairs... All in photos. I Take out my laptop and i look again at the Photos advertised in internet Maybe i ve booked another hotel by mistake.Internet Photos and reality:not the same story. I let the Photos of the room 301 here,and I end my comment here with the message:First step in any problem is recognizing there is one. Ps:Coffee în The breakfast room was horrible, i ve ended up în making a ness Coffee.Breakfast poor, but service was very kind. They must be very exigent with their personal. Pps:the bathroom was very clean, but you couldn find any product like shower gel or shampoo, not a complementary still water în The room:nothing. Ppps:at check out i was asked by Receptionist if i ve took anything from the minibar. Which minibar. Aaaa.... you mean the fridge in The bar close to Breakfast room, with the web camera pointed at it. No, i didn t. Smile smile smile

Great location with views to the ski area (in panoramic rooms). Tough to tell online, but rooms are different, so be sure you know which one you are booking. Recently partially renovated. Spa is nice. Breakfast was good and breakfast and cleaning staff are excellent. Shared kitchenette space with mini fridge, microwave, and drinks and snacks for purchase. Concierge fell flat with poor guidance and misinformation. (Closest bus stop, ski area opening times, etc). Provided ride to and from parking.

Due to avalanche risk, the streets up to Saas-Fee closed on Sathurday 12:00. We were supposed to arrive on Monday and our flight was leaving at 6:30 in the morning to Switzerland. The hotel told us, that if we cannot reach Saas-Fee until 19:00 on Monday evening, we could cancel free of charge. On Monday morning, local authorities informed, that there would be another update at 12:00 the same day. Which of course would be to late to travel to Switzerland. Not knowing in the morning if the streets would reopen, it was in fact impossible for us to fly to Switzerland and not have any accomodation or place to go if the streets stay closed. Plus all the costs of flight and rental car for nothing. So we had to cancel our trip and got a refund on the flight and rental car. Shortly after 12:00, the authorities informed that the street would reopen at 20:00, which would actually still be too late to reach Saas-Fee for the agreed 19:00 oclock. Of course the hotel informed us in the late afternoon that the reception would stay opened longer and shortly after 18:00 they informed us that the streets are already open (even tough there was no infos from the authorities about that). But we just couldn't risk to fly to Switzerland when the streets were still closed and no infos yet that they would reopen. No understanding what so ever from the hotel. Even the question for a voucher instead of a reimboursement was denied by the hotel. Absolutely to avoid!

Wir sind schon ein paar Jahre glücklich Gäste im Hotel Amber🤩, ob wir mit dem Hund , oder ich mit dem Gottegirl, es ist es immer toll da. Das Hotel bietet gute Preisleistung, mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge. Unser Hotelfachmann“ Claudio“ und seine Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ebenfalls sind immer aufgetischten Gipfeli oder Süssgebäck in der „gratis“ Kaffebar zu haben, die sich im schönen Altholz umgebauten Untergeschoss befindet.“Das ist einmalig hier 👍. Schon das zweite Mal erhielten wir ein Upgrate in einem der schönen grossen „teluxe Suite“ im Erdgeschoss, mit Whirlpool, supergrosses Boxspringbett..etc. Und das alles direkt im Tal an der Skipiste💪🤩🍀⛷️. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Really liked the place. Homely yet professional staff. Nice breakfast, usual stuff, well presented, limited fresh items. Great location for slopes, a bit out of the main town but a quick walk. Easy access to piste, boot room and ski racks, lead directly on to snow. Nice small spa, naked area with sauna, jacuzi, steam, showers etc. Best bit for me, small bar/cafe area with free hot drinks and pay for other stuff. Given prices of f&b in town, really good.

Accurate hotel website. Positive experience, enjoyable stay Some apres ski music from the street-side around 4-5pm,but did not detract from experience, rather, it enhanced.
