"The location is excellent. Because I have allergies, the carpet was very bad for me. It was old and I think it couldn't be cleaned anymore. Otherwise everything was clean. We had to take my dogs with us unexpectedly because the dog sitter all over suddenly didn't want to take care of my dogs anymore. In your hotel you didn't cause any problems but were just understanding and I appreciate that very much. Otherwise we should have left.   In the restaurant a special table was made for us and my four-legged friends. They were all very sweet and very friendly to my Caisy and Flocky. The service from the restaurant was a 5 plus. We really enjoyed the menu: everything was very good. I have traveled and lived in 5 star plus hotels all over the world my whole life and I know when people give service and are professionals. But the human touch is still very rare. Someone I/we would like to thank especially for her help is Kiara or Ciara. She had the personal, very professional service that you hardly find anymore. I don't know how she did it, but even though it's the time of year when everything is fully booked and everyone is under stress, she made time for all of the customers and still didn't make anyone wait. She saw so many little things and helped with them, not just for us but for all of her customers. I have rarely seen anyone so friendly, helpful and professional. She already knew what the customers needed and took care of it before we even said it. I would like to thank her again for everything she did for us. "This is one of 3 Hotel selected by our Friend. Honestly. This was the most cost effective, our stay in Gstaad was for several days only It is true to name it’s sake, it truly is “A place in heaven” We were picked up ( free of charge) at the train station ( public transportation is so convenient, reasonably price, easy to maneuver, and you can’t beat the VIEWS )by Tim Matti( one of the owners) Short ride to Hotel. The Hotel is impeccable, very friendly accommodating staff, there’s a restaurant on premises( they provide room service). Menu is varied, typical of European fanfare, we loved the variety of crepes, Pizza delicious ( blia, all local fresh ingredients) Our room had two closets, a very small keyed safe. Queen size Comfy bed, shower( no tub),blow dryer. There’s a pool, a spa( reservations are required) They provide Bikes, there’s a play ground for children It is very convenient to everything Gstaad has to offer"

"This 3 star hotel punches much above its ratings. The rooms are very well appointed, with contemporary furniture, very comfortable beds, spacious, and well equipped. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. All well above what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. The restaurant serves a good breakfast, and the evening menu is excellent. All aur meals were delicious, with a Swiss menu with a Mexican twist. The staff were very friendly, and the Director has a quirky sense of humour! Perfectly central location, close to the rail station We hope to be back next year"

"An excellent and unforgettable experience at the Spitzhorn. The experience was full of great surprises, like being at home. The staff was amazing and they remembered my name and my favorite drink. They were very attentive ALL the time with a big smile. Rooms are very spacious with a beautiful view. Most of all, the owner/manager Michel was on top of things at all times. Breakfast was excellent to the last detail. I am certainly going back."
