"The location is excellent. Because I have allergies, the carpet was very bad for me. It was old and I think it couldn't be cleaned anymore. Otherwise everything was clean. We had to take my dogs with us unexpectedly because the dog sitter all over suddenly didn't want to take care of my dogs anymore. In your hotel you didn't cause any problems but were just understanding and I appreciate that very much. Otherwise we should have left.   In the restaurant a special table was made for us and my four-legged friends. They were all very sweet and very friendly to my Caisy and Flocky. The service from the restaurant was a 5 plus. We really enjoyed the menu: everything was very good. I have traveled and lived in 5 star plus hotels all over the world my whole life and I know when people give service and are professionals. But the human touch is still very rare. Someone I/we would like to thank especially for her help is Kiara or Ciara. She had the personal, very professional service that you hardly find anymore. I don't know how she did it, but even though it's the time of year when everything is fully booked and everyone is under stress, she made time for all of the customers and still didn't make anyone wait. She saw so many little things and helped with them, not just for us but for all of her customers. I have rarely seen anyone so friendly, helpful and professional. She already knew what the customers needed and took care of it before we even said it. I would like to thank her again for everything she did for us. "We came to Gstaad to celebrate a birthday event with friends. This hotel was on their list of "recommended" hotels. Nice smiles at reception and friendly introduction, but a hotel lives from hard and software. Here the hardware is totally deficient. Superior room, the most expensive room category before the suites. Motel-like room, Ikea style furniture, miniscule bathroom and a fabulous view on the parking lot. Ground floor terrace. Main street to the ski lift. Without drawn curtains and sitting in the dark, everybody can look straight into the room. This is the worst reality check I have encountered in my 60 years of worldwide traveling. No, absolutely no relationship with the website. Either we have been ripped off and we received a massive downgrade or the website is a total scam. Uncomfortable beds and badly isolated walls. We are counting the hours to be able to leave this place. Stay away"

"We stayed for a week in the hotel for a vacation in Switzerland of 4 weeks; definitely the best experience we had in the country. The staff is very professional and friendly, it was a very nice surprise to find many of them to be fluent in spanish. The food quality is great. The SPA is elegant and gives the feeling of exclusivity. We appreciated the support from Olivier the concierge and the restaurant manager Romina, both of them extremely attentive and made our stay to feel warm and personal. Great Recommendation for couples, as the rooms are confortable, clean and with good taste, the breakfast, spa services, spa facilities, food and drinks options make it a good place for enjoying the beauty of Gstaad."

"An excellent and unforgettable experience at the Spitzhorn. The experience was full of great surprises, like being at home. The staff was amazing and they remembered my name and my favorite drink. They were very attentive ALL the time with a big smile. Rooms are very spacious with a beautiful view. Most of all, the owner/manager Michel was on top of things at all times. Breakfast was excellent to the last detail. I am certainly going back."

"The Hotel is generally really quite lovely. The included breakfast is the same everyday and pretty good all round. The rooms are about what you’d expect for a three star hotel - nothing fancy but clean and everything you need. My only issue was the Wifi which was really quite bad - constantly turning off and on made it really frustrating to get any work or streaming done."
