"Excellent place to stay. We were on a mountain biking week and had a great week staying at this hotel. The room was large with plenty of storage, huge bed, big TV, large walk-in shower, and a decent size balcony area. They served a really good continental breakfast in the mornings - super tasty cereal and eggs! They also catered very well for bikes, with a secure lock up room, and a bike wash. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and as we had a late return flight it was great to be able to use their sauna area to shower and change later in the day (ie after checking out). The location is also great, just a 10 minute walk to the shops/restaurants. Negatives were really minor! I did find it odd there's no sink in the toilet room, so you have to go through to the separate shower room to wash your hands! And it was super hot while we were there. We weren't expecting A/C but a fan would have been nice to help shift the air a little. But overall this is a fantastic hotel and it will be top of the list if we return to Saalbach in future."

"I went to this hotel with a Dutch travel company, we got into an accident with our bus and therefore arrived at 02:00, but the employees of the reception were still friendly and very hospitable (and still at work for us!) We were greeted with Apfelstrudel. During our stay the staff were always friendly and provided great service. Our food was delicious, rooms were tidy and we absolutely loved the Joker cards we received. This made it possible for us to take in the wonderful view of the area via the ski lift. The hotel, the area and especially the rooms, looked very sophisticated, cozy and beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised my room had a bath tub and a whole lot of room! I will be returning to this hotel, as the experience I had was nothing short of amazing."

"Superb Hotel in a great location and with excellent service. We stayed in January for a week skiing, the room we had (Comfort double room without balcony) was fab. It had dual aspect windows with a view over the outdoor hot tub and the main Bergkogel gondola. The only complaint about the room was it was warm. This was despite the radiators being turned off. I would have happily slept with the windows slightly open, but my husband is a light sleeper and could hear some outside noise. However this didn’t bother us too much, just meant that we had to throw the covers off. The food in the hote was plentiful and tasty. Breakfast was both a buffet and a choice of specialist eggs (omelette, fried etc). There was plenty of choice from cheese and meats, pastries, cereals, fruit, porridge, or bacon and eggs. Afternoon tea was amazing (and at no additional cost), there was refillable sodas, tea and coffees. A wide choice of cake and patesseries, cheese and meats and a hot option like Spätzle. If you had a hard day on the slopes you can certainly refuel. The evening meal was also delicious. You made your choice in the morning of which starter and main you wanted and this was supplemented with a salad buffet, soup, pudding and cheese. We had to restrain ourselves to make sure we didn’t eat too much. The restaurant and bar area was nicely decorated and I would describe it w modern alpine chic. The spa area was also fabulous. The enormous infinity hot-tub was a great place to rest weary muscles and we enjoyed the sauna and relaxation areas too. The boot room provided individual lockers per room, so you knew your kit was safe and secure and it was a couple of minutes walk to access the slopes, and head to the Bernkogel or Kohlmais lifts. Finally we really liked Saalbach town and found that there was a wide range of après options to cater for all tastes and ages. We will be back"

"This was our 5th January (over the past 8 years) skiing Saalbach and staying at Wiesenegg Hotel. The Schwabl family does a phenomenal job providing their guests with 5-star care. The inn is beautiful, the rooms and common areas sparkling clean, the gourmet breakfasts and dinners varied and top restaurant quality, the complimentary spa with 2 saunas and steam room/relaxation rooms/showers amazing, the ski/boot room constructed with every convenience, and the access to the huge ski resort a couple of steps outside the entrance. The price is always amazing for the accommodation and services. We travel and ski a great deal and have stayed in many wonderful places. Wiesenegg is by far the best for the entirety of what they offer. Thank you, Family Schwabl!! See you next year."

"Eva Garden is a nice hotel in a Austria style. It is just located outside the city center but on walkig distance to skilifts. The Kohlmaisbahn is the one most close to the hotel. Next to Kohlmaisbahn you can rent your ski and go for a drink after skiing. Between the Kohlmaisbahn and the hotel is a small hill. The rooms and the hotel are clean. We had the possibility to park the car for free next to the hotel. Breakfast is very good. The dinner is also good, if they improve the maincourse a bit. The owner assured us that this would be fixed a.s.a.p. In the end a great week and the staff helped us very well."

"We (2 adults, 2 boys 14+17 and dog Eddy) were 10 days in the Saalbach Landhaus in July. We had the Alpenherz apartment with balcony and a comfort apartment, both together into a living unit. It was perfect for the size and our dog felt very well on the big balcony. Unfortunately, the weather was very modest, the more we enjoyed the nights sauna and infrared cabin, with beautiful views and great rest opportunities. The breakfast was also very good. Various bread/breads, cheese variants, egg variants, ...mal pancakes, ...a great choice and for big and small something with it. The wheel clothing could be stored in the extra room. The closets were aired at night so shoes and clothes were dry next day and you didn't have the "drick" in the apartment. The Kuhar family was super nice and helpful. Thank you for this beautiful time ⛰️💚"

"The positives , nice rooms , very clean new and well kitted out , breakfast was nice enough although bacon seemed a real problem and always met with rolled eyes when asked for more ! The negatives , whilst not far to ski slope and the walk into town was 5 minutes but be warned it’s down a narrow and very steep “double black” path which if snow covered would be treacherous - hotel did say this to us but it is super steep , the walk down the road is miles and not realistic , taxi back from town was 20 euros a night not ideal really if you want to look in Saalbach in the evening which you will because the restaurant staff are poor and unhelpful and bar shuts early and lifeless - Reception staff very helpful restaurant and bar staff less to to the point of surly and rude .. got yelled at from 20 yards by a member of staff as I walked out of breakfast with an apple “oi you can’t take that out of restaurant “ then made me go and read a small sign and leave it there in front of the whole restaurant ..it made me feel like a thief and whilst there is a small sign that you can’t take food from breakfast it was an apple to eat on the move to my room .. I have never ever been shouted at like that in any hotel I have ever stayed at ..incredulous and other guests all sympathised and said it was pathetic .. surely a discreet word would have been better suited if they really had to enforce this “rule” for a measly Apple ..I wasn’t walking out with a meal for 4 ! All in all it was reasonable price and clean and nicely fitted out but wouldn’t go again because of the location and staff .sorry it’s just how I feel about my experience .."

"My son and I stayed for a week during half term in Feb 26. The hotel is magnificent. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, immaculately cleaned daily (as is all of the hotel areas) Heated Ski lockers are luxurious and every room is allocated a huge locker to use. Everything has been thought of in this amazing hotel. Food quality and choice is incredible and one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I can see why it is number 1 on trip advisor. Location is good, a 5 minute walk to the nearest lift. Pool & Spa facilities are fantastic - 25 meter outdoor heated pool and indoor linked pool with spa area is superb and really made our ski holiday. Facilities, food and accommodation were all excellent. I actually tried to book again for 2027 but sadly they have changed their booking policy to not allow children under 14 (my son is 11 and will be 12) which is a massive disappointment and difficult to understand as the younger children were better behaved in the pool facilities that the older kids imo. Still, the hotel is still superb and I highly recommend it."

"Saalbach is a fantastic resort offering a network of opportunities with your free Joker Card. Gondolas in Saalbach are based in the centre and all free transport is clean and punctual enabling a host of walks, cycle routes and sightseeing in the Saalbach and Hinterglemm area. The icing on the cake is the Saalbacher Hof Hotel, it offers a variety of rooms, food is delicious and plentiful and all staff are friendly and obliging. Having indoor and outdoor pools is a bonus and so are the additional areas that the hotel can offer meaning that you are not confined to your room should the weather be inclement or you just wish to chill with a book. I hope to return many more times, it is indeed my 'Happy place'"

"Great hotel with really friendly staff (special mention for Mike who was so welcoming and our waitress Daniella who really looked after us and was brilliant!) Great location; close to cable cars, bars & shops. Our room was large with a balcony and was serviced every day. Lovely little pool with sauna and steam room; all very clean. Food was very nice with buffet salad bar, desserts, huge cheese board with main course being served (choice of veggie, meat or fish each day) Saalbach is a lovely town, everyone was very friendly and the area is absolutely beautiful. Added bonus is the joker card to ride the cable cars for free along with lots of other discounts and a mobility card which gave free bus rides. I would come back here again!"
