Best Western Plus Ruston Hotel

Very nice experience. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel for friendly and smiling staff.

We arrived about 15 minutes before check-in time of 3:00 thinking it was close enough and that the rooms would be ready. A couple was waiting in the check-in area but no one was at the desk. A man who was mopping the floor saw us and said someone would be with us soon. When the manager (I assume) came, he said there were no rooms ready and hurried away to check the status of the cleaning of the rooms. It appeared they were short staffed. No problem. We wanted to watch our college football game so we decided to go next door to the Mexican restaurant and watch the game. At halftime, we went back and were Able to check in. The room was clean and we liked that it had a mini fridge and microwave. They had ice machines but no vending machines. You had to purchase drinks and snacks at the front desk, but the bottled water was complimentary. I was concerned about noise as there was a little league baseball team staying there but that was no issue. The walls were insulated enough that you couldn't hear every little noise in the rooms next door. The breakfast was just ok, but we got enough to satisfy. When we.checked out, the manager said he got our room ready the day before but we were gone when he came back to check us in. He was very nice and seemed to want to make sure everything was good with us. All the employees we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We can definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if we are in the area.
