Bereits bei der Ankunft in der Lodge fühlt man sich so herzlich willkommen wie Zuhause. Ein Ort um die Sorgen der Welt einen Moment vergessen zu können und sich auf das Wohl der Tiere konzentrieren zu können. Alle vor Ort sind super herzlich und die kleine Häuser liebevoll gemacht. Die Küchen „Chefin“ zaubert jeden Tag neue Gerichte und hat sogar schon 2 Kochbücher verfasst. Seit Dezember ist Emma als Ranger und gute Seele mit da und hat sich super um uns gekümmert. Wir hoffen bald wieder zu kommen.

We went just after it was renovated and it is well set up for kids. Very patient with them and our guide was very good. We had a great sighting of elephant. All suited our purposes well and everyone very friendly.

This is about our fifth time at Mziki and it is as awesome as ever. Love the new renovations and our room was lovely. On our game drives, Khosi was a superb guide, very thoughtful, knowledgeable and just a delight to spend time with. The food was great and Kego has definitely not lost her touch - she is an excellent chef and it is lovely to eat dinner outside under the stars in the boma Mziki is an owner run Safari Lodge and a magnificent lodge with caring and happy people working there - when you stay there it feels like home Overall - our stay was awesome and we will be visiting again in the future

We enjoyed a short 2 day stay at Mziki. The lodge is rebuilt and gardens need to be established but that did not detract from a lovely homely stay. Would definitely recommend for families with kids

Die Zimmer der Mziki Lodge sind in einzelnen Bungalows untergebracht. Sie sind geschmackvoll rustikal/modern eingerichtet und ausgesprochen geräumig. Das Bad ist ebenfalls recht groß und hat eine schöne moderne Dusche. Die Kingsize-Betten sind wahnsinnig bequem. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker und oft besser als in den 5 Sterne Lodges, die wir auf unserer Reise besucht hatten. Die Lodge hat einen großen Pool, der sehr gut gepflegt ist und zum Schwimmen einlädt. Es ist auch ein netter Spielplatz vorhanden und man kann z.B. Bogenschießen. Die Game Drives waren sehr entspannend, wir haben mehr unterschiedliche Antilopenarten gesehen als in Madikwe und Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Wir haben auch Rhinozerosse, Strauße, Giraffen, Büffel und Elefanten gesehen. Im Rückblick hatten wir hier mehr Tiersichtungen als in Madikwe und Pilanesberg, wo bei den Game Drives ständig versucht wird Löwen und Leoparden zu finden und man z.T. "sinnlos" im Gelände herumfährt, anstatt zu genießen was man einfach so zu sehen bekommt. Unser Fahrer hat auch viel Informatives zu den Tieren und Pflanzen erzählt. Wir haben hier wunderschöne, entspannende Tage verbracht.
