I can’t recommend Mziki Safari lodge enough! We had an absolutely incredible time- nothing was too much trouble. Marileeze, our ranger was fantastic- so friendly, kind and incredibly knowledgeable about the reserve. We stayed in the 2 bedroomed lodge which was perfect, (the Attenborough quotes on the pillows each evening with a handmade chocolate was a highlight with the kids!). The food each meal time was incredible, all homemade by Kego. This place is a must visit and was a real highlight of our trip to South Africa.

We stay at Mziki Safari Lodge because of the good ratings... but it was not that good. It was our 41st annivarsity and we want to celebrate it there.

Just returned home from a wonderful stay at Mziki. The accommodation is beautiful- we stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite which was beautifully decorated and had stunning views of the reserve. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay as perfect as possible. The guides are knowledgable and truly want the guests to have the best experience- special mention to Nkosi who was our guide and made sure we had the most memorable game drives! The food is prepared by the lodge’s chef and is absolutely delicious. The best thing though is how fantastically the lodge caters for children- our two boys had the best time and loved doing the Junior Ranger course where they learned den building, bush skills and archery. Overall I couldn’t recommend this place any more highly- it’s no wonder they have so many return guests, our family will absolutely be coming back again!

A wonderful place with the most welcoming staff. Our children's first safari experience couldn't have gone better. Great sightings, a fantastic Junior Ranger course and a lodge well suited to families with young kids. Highly recommended.

Our family travelled from Sydney, Australia and it was seamless transfer to Mziki Lodge from Johannesburg airport. Our kids absolutely loved the junior ranger course. Marylise was an excellent tracker and teacher and Kego was a fantastic cook! These fours nights were a highlight of our Southern Africa trip and created unforgettable memories for our family. The wildlife was spectacular and it was great to get up close with Edie the Cheetah and the other big and small African animals.

It was our family's first safari excursion. From securing reservation until arrival, the entire process was smooth. We enjoyed the game drives and also the team went above and beyond for my wife's birthday celebration - truly appreciated that moment. Our game drive- Nkosi was exceptional all the times! The only recommendation - incorporate the spa treatment communication into Mziki's communication channels so that the requests by clients are directly communicated to the Spa team.

A wonderful 3 nights stay with family and friends at Mziki Safari Lodge to celebrate a 50th birthday. Friendly and attentive staff added to the enjoyment of our time spent at this very special place. The food and service is exceptional. Nkosi is an outstanding guide - excellent game drives. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back for a third trip. An absolute gem.

The lodge was not too bad Would have liked more activities to do Maybe even a solar heated pool And also maybe a TV in the room
