This place got great reviews, and I don’t understand it. Nothing worked. The lamps didn’t work, the Internet didn’t work, the bathroom fans didn’t work, and the television didn’t even work. I called the front desk, and they suggested I unplug the TV/HDMI cables and plug it back in, which didn’t work. Then I asked about the Internet, and they said they didn’t know. Also, there was no way to securely lock the door from the inside, it looked like it had been busted off the door.

I've stayed here many times and it has been wonderfull. However, new management came in in July and the place is on a downhill slide fast. Unclean rooms, uncaring service. Sorry to say that I won't stay again. It was a good run while it lasted.

We were happy to experience the excellent accommodations at a reasonable price during our first stay. Friendly, front staff, clean rooms, typical free low quality offerings for breakfast. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna!! The very next week found us staying at this same hotel with a much different experience. One week later, the rate went up $15 even though there were very few customers and nothing going on in the area. It was difficult to sleep between the bright exterior lights aimed at our windows (we had to stack pillows in the window sill just to keep the curtains shut) along with the faulty a/c fan bearings screaming at us at unexpected times during the night. We took notice of the absolutely filthy furniture in the front lobby and the thoroughly unkempt and unmowed property around back where our window overlooked. When we checked out we informed the front desk person of our concerns who merely said “sorry”. Next time we will probably choose another hotel down the road.

We were happy to experience the excellent accommodations at a reasonable price. Friendly, helpful front staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast, and we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna!! The hot tub was not quite hot enough. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Passing through Kansas
Fossil Creek was ok but I'm not sure whether we would stay there again. The room was fine and the location was convenient to the highway for the night but breakfast was so disappointing. The scrambled eggs were cold and several of the containers for cold cereals were completely empty. It was not a good way to start the day.

Footprints in shower, broken security lock on door, and damaged floor in shower...wouldn't step in it without shoes on. Totally needs to be updated and fixed!

Although and older building, staff was nice and room clean and bed comfortable. Average breakfast and coffee. Even though it was beside interstate, our room was very quiet.
