Footprints Beach Resort ★★
"What a great place!! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and could not have been happier with everything. 10/10 for the accommodation, restaurant, bar, beach and last but not least the staff! Owen and Angie were so nice and helpful with everything, the Air condition bungalow was perfect for us. Clean and spacious and great water power in the shower 😁 Food at the restaurant was so nice, the Chicken Adobo and Chicken Sisig were one of the best Philippine dishes we had during our one month stay in Philippines. Highly recommend for any traveller that wants to kick back, enjoy the beach relax and have the option to go explore beautiful Tablas island. Looking forward to coming back again to this great place and then for longer stay! Best, Eythor and Kolfinna"
Lanas Beach Resort Carabao Island ★★
"This very well maintained small Resort at Lana Beach in Carabao Island is a real gem. The staff is super nice and the location is amazing for sundowns."
Ocean’s Edge Resort ★★★★
"The sleep quality here is guaranteed to be comfortable—it's quiet, relaxing & you are literally immersed in nature, with oceanfront views and bird sounds as well. As for the food and drinks, they’re minimal, but I didn’t mind since I'm not a foodie and I have an allergy to alcohol. My focus was on enjoying the scenery, exploring the island, land tour, snorkeling & not staying in the hotel all day or indulging myself in amenities. It’s a bit of a logistical challenge being on an island, & it’s understandable. I wasn’t expecting everything to be the same as a typical or luxurious hotel, per se. I even brought my own dental kit and hairdryer. Minor issues includes no hand soap & dental kit, but the staff were quick to provide after I requested. Another small issue was the door lock, was tricky to open. I arrived earlier than the usual check-in time so I understand that the room wasn’t ready. Is it worth it? You get what you pay for, so yes, it’s worth it! You get the view, a spacious-clean bathroom, and a large room. As an accounting graduate, I tend to consider value before paying for anything, and I felt this stay was well worth it. An entire cabana was mine. It’s cheap compared to the original price. The staff, especially Jeffrey and Ciara, were incredibly kind and easy to talk to. They even surprised me with a delicious birthday cake courtesy of Chef Ronnie which was so nice. And Chef Melvin for the best garlic chicken I’ve ever tasted—seriously! It feels like home. Can’t wait to come back in March ! 🤞 The property is huge and literally at the edge of the ocean. it requires regular maintenance—something the resort/hotel lacks. I suggest a couple of sunbeds at the beach as well. The location is isolated and quite far from Poblacion, but it has beautiful beaches nearby if you wish to explore, along with restaurants. There are several villas and cabanas to choose from. You can swim or go snorkeling by the beach. So, if you're not picky or high-maintenance and are simply looking for a relaxing night's sleep after a tiring land tour or water activity, I highly recommend this place for you."
LaSersita Casitas and Water Spa Beach Resort by Cocotel ★★★★
"Situated about 1km the Mindoro loop road; it is easy to access via a cemented road. On arriving we were greeted by security, who were polite and professional (a re-occurring theme at this hotel) and directed to reception. Check in was a breeze - more professional and competent staff. Our room had 2 queen sized beds, ac and en-suite bathroom. The view over the pools and out into the sea are amazing; and the small balcony just right for avoiding some sun and yet having a view. Supper was excellent - in a lovely covered yet “open” dining facility. Of course the staff were yet again professional, polite and helpful !!!"
Savoy Hotel Boracay near Newcoast Beach ★★★★
"Definitely enjoyed our wrist stay here this is not our first time in Boracay if I'm not mistaking this is our fifth time already and our second time to be staying at Newcoast area. I love the fact that Savoy is part of the hotel chain where simplicity and affordability is maintained. Savoy Boracay surprisingly big and offers amenities tha other hotels in Boracay do not have. The hotel has gym, spa, big pool, beach accesibility and shuttle for the D' Mall. Appreciate the most the extra effort they prepare for our celebration, from the tv greetongs to the letters/cards,balloons and cakes they prepare for our kids birthday and our anniversary. This is a great place to enjoy a quiet and relaxing Boracay vacation without mizssing the paradise itself."
Microtel by Wyndham Boracay ★★★
"Far away from everything. Not a swimming beach. WiFi is very bad, you have to go to the restaurant for good WiFi. Restaurant expensive and shops and other restaurants and shops very far away. We stayed 1 night and left to be closer to the action. They were very accommodating with our choice to leave. Receptionist is not very friendly on arrival."
Alta Vista de Boracay ★★★
"The hotel is quite big ,500 rooms ,a bit worn but well maintained. The location is a bit far from the cente but ot all depends of preference, I liked as it was quiet. Your biggest asset is your staff, always welcoming and smiling, always ready to help. Big minus for me was the coffee, for some maybe not a big deal ,but the one served at breakfast was just awful , especially when you pay for it you get the decent one. Breakfast was decent but when I woke up late one day almost nothing left... And no one refilled it. Apart from that good stay. Little tip , don't save on coffee as little things like that may totally change the perception of the hotel and their approach to guests"
Movenpick Resort & Spa Boracay ★★★★★
"The beach is great, and the service is top-notch – they really pamper you. Breakfast, however, wasn't very tasty. There were a lot of baked goods, the fruit wasn't very good, and the beef wasn't flavorful. Chicken and pork were just okay. While there was a large selection, I found it to be pretty mediocre overall. Even the cappuccino machine didn't make a great coffee. It's not a 'wow' or premium breakfast; I'd rate it 3 out of 5. It's acceptable though, and the main thing is the beach, which is not crowded, only hotel guests. The grounds are well-maintained, nice but not 'wow' – 3 out of 5."
