"If your looking for a relaxing, less touristy experience, this is it. Beautiful location. We took a scooter to explore the island, hardly any traffic and beautiful scenery. We loved Cathedral Caves, the water was so blue. Great food, MMAD restaurant is well worth a visit too. The area around the resort is full of nature and village life. There are are other options for food at other resorts too, The Beach House was great. The hosts here are really kind and, as an animal lover, it's great to see them caring for some of the local dogs as well as the resident dog Timmy. We will definitely be back!"

"Having stayed in hotels in many countries and places in recent years, Ocean Edge Resort is a big surprise. Ocean Edge Resort is located on Carabao Island, in the northwest of the island, built along the sea and cliffs, quiet and beautiful. Carabao Island is about 50 minutes by boat from Caticlan. If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of Boracay or want to have some different experiences, Carabao is the closest and most ideal choice. It is recommended that those who come to Boracay can stay in Carabao for 2 days. There are almost no tourists on the island and it is very quiet. Ocean Edge Resort faces the sea and is very private. The staff are all residents of the island, and basically no commercial atmosphere can be felt (in sharp contrast to Boracay). You can fall asleep at night accompanied by the sound of waves and insects. The beach of the hotel can be superficial. The food is simple, but delicious. I met a friend who stayed here for 2 months in a row, an ideal shelter for remote work. It is not a luxurious hotel, but if you pay more attention to the experience of travel, Ocean Edge Resort is highly recommended"

"This is a good chill out place for families or couples. There is plenty of space to hang out with many chairs and tables. The rooms have nice balconies overlooking the infinity pool and beach. Nice restaurant with fun choices. The service is medium. They aren't going out of their way to serve, so you have to find your own pool towels, etc. Staff is friendly and the free buffet breakfast is tasty. We stayed during the week after Christmas and the local barangay blasted music until after 2:30am. Very rude, but the resort is out by itself, so it is probably usually quiet. The rooms are big and they offer extra beds for 1500/person/night. No need to reserve two rooms, which we did. The jacuzzi is cold and has Epson salts. It is very large and fun to hang out in. This place definitely has many chairs for selfies and places to read or hang out. If you want a few days' getaway, this is the place."

"Beautiful location, gorgeous private beach,helpful and friendly staff. Good selection of food at breakfast and I loved the shrimp balls and bbq octopus satay in the evenings. Small issues with the room,my toilet would leak a bit and the decorative blue pillow with the shells on it smelled damp/moldy. Otherwise good entertainment,happy hour deals. Great stay."
