Ibis Budget Rouen Centre Rive Gauche Reviews

No. Just no. It is in a really shady neighbourhood, and the name of the hotel is incredibly misleading. Nowhere near the centre of Rouen. You can walk to the centre in 40 mins (but I wouldn't advise it), or get a bus - but in all honesty it's not worth saving the extra cash. Room was not clean, it was so basic in terms of furnishing that it felt like a hospital, or a hostel. The temperature control in the room was set to 24 degrees which made for a very hot night. Hotels right in the centre are far nicer. We moved almost immediately to the Mercure Cathedral branch, and it was 2000% nicer.

Farther outside. Quite okay for overnight stays. . Typical simple French breakfast.

The hotel staff were super welcoming and friendly!! The breakfast was amazing too! Way better than we expected, but don’t come too late for breakfast ( around 9 is good, we notice around 9:30 it’s peak so there’s waiting). But theres many choice, my favorite was the fresh orange juice and French toast!

The room is quite small and the quilt is very dirty. It looks quite disgusting and I don't recommend staying here. The service is OK and the environment is good, but the quilt has not been changed for many years.

Convenient hotel for business travel. Quiet space and well-kept rooms.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans l'hotel. La chambre est suffisante (avec un lit bébé) mais ce sont surtout les parties communes qui sont très grandes et agréables. Finalement y passe du temps plutôt que dans la chambre, il y a un billard et un babyfoot et un jeu façon puissance 4 "géant" qui permet aux enfants de passer du temps. Le petit déjeuner était très bien également.
