Excellent location in the heart of CBD. Huge Woolsworth store and restaurants within walking distance. Mattress was little too hard and pillows were flat n musty. Cab ride from airport was abt $35 and 20 mins away.

Excellent stay. Nice amenities and close to the action in Darwin. Will definitely be staying there next time in Darwin.

Found this hotel too basic not at all like the usual Hilton Hotel. However the staff at the reception (the French man can’t remember his name) was most helpful.

The air conditioner in the room produced more than 50 decibels of noise all night, and I couldn't sleep all night. I will not stay in this hotel again

It's quite satisfactory and the facilities are old, but it still deserves the Hilton name. The house is relatively humid and clothes cannot be dried. The breakfast was very good and the buffet breakfast was reasonably priced.

The service is very good, you can order food and deliver it at any time, which is very good. But the interior of the room is old and does not belong to Hilton's configuration. And no mineral water is provided, you have to buy it yourself.

In cities without many hotel choices, I tend to be more lenient. In Darwin, Marriott only has a lowly Courtyard, and Hyatt-IHG-Radisson have nothing at all. Accor has some mediocre brands (Novotel, etc.) and Hilton has a couple (HGI, DoubleTree) but the Hilton proper is most likely being the better of the bunch. As Hilton Lifetime Diamond I was upgraded to a sea view suite at check-in which was highly appreciated. The suite was comfortable and had 1.5 bath which is convenient. The lounge had forgettable food (especially hot food), but it was super quiet so it was nice spending time there. Drinks were actually decent; this is Australia after all so the wines were drinkable, and they even have some cocktails. Service in the lounge was excellent throughout. Breakfast was good and the general manager was making the rounds to greet customers which is always a good sign at any hotel. The only small blemish was that breakfast ends quite early (10am) and on our first morning we arrived towards the tail end as we were jet lagged. We were still eating and we were told we had to leave the restaurant because they had to clean the area to prepare for lunch. Overall I was quite happy with the stay, I don't think we could get better elsewhere in the city.

We arrived at the Hilton Darwin 12:30am on Wednesday 11/06/2025 we checked in no problem, the staff at reception were wonderful and very accommodating. Throughout our stay until Sunday 15/06/2025 was nothing short of fantastic. We checked out at 11:00am but because our flight wasn’t until 1:20am Monday morning, we were able to leave our luggage in lock up, that allowed us to spend the rest of the day exploring Darwin more until we had to leave for the airport at 10:00pm, the staff organised a cab for our trip to the airport. We will be back. Love Darwin
