Simply clean bedroom , have the hot water swimming pool is reli nice in winter and 2jaccuzzi !

We had a generally pleasant experience in Rydges Rotorua. though there were a few drawbacks. The hotel rooms are showing signs of age, and overall cleanliness in our bedroom was just average. A particular letdown was the rusty kettle provided in the room. On the positive side, the hotel offers a good range of amenities, including a heated swimming pool, spa and a children's playroom which are great for families. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of options and was a nice way to start the day. While it's not perfect, this hotel is a fair choice for families looking for a comfortable stay with decent facilities.

The room was spacious but the furniture was very old. The room was moderately clean. The cups were not cleaned properly and the kettle had mold inside. The reception was always unattended during oir stay.

Location wise is pretty good, 50m away from Whakarewarewa. Very happy with what I got during my booking. Overall nice and no regret

Strongly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. There’s an outdoor heated pool with sauna which was perfect to end the day with. Also comes with a playroom with table tennis, foosball, table hockey which is great for family bonding. Kids dine free with paying adults so is great for family. Breakfast spread was good! Highly recommended!

We love our stay! Got the room we booked, same as in the picture. My kids love it too! Will dedinitely book again.

The heater in the room doesn’t work. But the location also is a bit far from the center. But overall stay us good

The hotel room is big and clean. The only problem is not enough car parking space and you need to park your car at the street if you come back after 6:00pm. I have some transportation query to Taupo sent to hotel 1 day before via email but the responded from the hotel is slow and not helpful.

The room is clean and good, Internet speed is good. Great location near the thermal hotspring

The buffet dinner is very disappointing for $75/each, but the room is quite clean & tidy, this is the second time that no bathrobe supplied since last visit July 2024 even we had requested upon the reception agreed to send someone down. The service attitude from the hotel staff had been declined since changed hand from originally Holiday Inn Rotorua. There was fire evacuation alarm happening at 5:20am and many people was forced to evacuate to the outdoor where it’s quite cold & windy, we didn’t receive any apology or concern of comfort from the hotel. Looks like is not their business and they don’t care! But overall, we still will come again in the future as we enjoy the facilities and the location there.

Everything is good except the room condition like bathroom is a bit old, not newly renovated

Good kids play facilities and very friendly staff, pool open to 9:30, quite convenient

Best hotel stayed throughout the trip around north new zealand. We took the room with great view of geothermal springs - best view... Location was great as well - 5 - 8 mins drive to town.
