Between the step out/in from the bathroom i tripped on several times and them not having air conditioning it felt very lacking for the high price. The bed was creaky. The room was basic But honestly there isnt any alternatives. My biggest complaint would be the awful check in times being 4 pm and after

Location OK, but overpriced for the standard. The hotel's cleanliness needs considerable improvement; the shower area was dirty. However, the experience would have been tolerable if the hotel had handled the mess in a more professional manner, i.e., internally, instead of bothering the customer with the company's internal system problems for over a week after payment, even though the bank confirmed that the payment had gone through and that the problem was on Scandic's end. In addition to the payment problems, the hotel had booked another customer into the same room you had already paid for, and in the middle of your trip, you had to explain who you were and why you were in the room, which you had booked and for which you had paid an absurd price considering the standard offered. All of this might have been tolerable, but when the hotel fails to offer its customer any compensation for all of this, then this time the service was not even worth one star. Cannot be recommended.

First, we had to wait in line for a long time to get our rooms and had to complete a huge paper trail for each room separately. The room does not have air conditioning, a kettle, tea or coffee, or a bath mat or towel for the floor mat. After traveling around Europe, one learns to expect a tea kettle in the cheapest hotels and B&Bs.

Quiet and convenient
on a trip to Denmark with family, including two younger children. This hotel made a great places stay in Roskilde.
Close to all major attractions, quiet, and clean, easy parking.
Decent breakfast in the morning too!
The mattresses in the beds were a bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker.
Cute play area for the kids in the lobby.
Would stay again.
