Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Bend/at Notre Dame

Let me start by saying the front desk staff, especially, Amy were a dedicated, hard working and kind group of people. Their hearts are committed to taking care of the customer which can sometimes be difficult when you are staying at a low cost place of lodging. Microtel is a great value for your dollar, but it does not have all the bells and whistles of a larger size motel. What it did have was an excellent bed and pillows that was clean and in our case, perfectly located for quick on off access to the Thruway and the school we were visiting while it was hectic at the desk the night we arrived, and there was a significant amount of problem-solving that needed to occur. Amy was calm, cool And incredibly competent and trying to make sure all incoming guests knew that she would take care of things. For my family it was a great night sleep at a very affordable rate in an area where costly hotel rooms are more than norm. Thanks again to Amy and her staff.

Wonderful staff , so helpful. I didn’t have a reservation but they helped me anyway, they were so kind. Rooms clean , good clean office. Denny was awesome , Amber was so professional and helpful.

Clean, safe, comfortable. Amber and her staff go above and beyond. Other hotels should take notes, this is what the hospitality standard needs to be.

Amy was very accommodating when I first got there. I had trouble with my first room and she helped me out a lot getting a better room. She went out of her way to make sure me and my coworkers were taken care of. Even when I was trying to get to my room one night, I had to get my card reset and had told her my coworker locked his key in his car. And she was so helpful, she went outside and helped them try to open the car late at night. The rooms were always clean and on point, we appreciated everyone’s hard work for keeping it safe and clean for us. The breakfast was always ready and really good ! She made sure we always had our breakfast before work even if we told her we started earlier, it was always hot and ready! She went above and beyond to make Microtel our home away from home when we were out of town. It was hard leaving our hometown and family’s but thanks to Amy and Amber we felt good being around awesome people. Hope we get to work around that area again soon so we can go back to Microtel in South Bend and have a great time!

From check in to check out everything was amazing! Adam, Liz, Amber, Dennys and Amy was so accommodating! Breakfast was delicious, the rooms smelled freah everything was spotless. I reserved rooms again!

I needed to book a room last minute and Amy and Vickie were very accommodating! Rooms we're nice and clean! Highly recommend this family friendly hotel!
