SureStay by Best Western Roseburg

The only thing I'm having an issue with is that being a local I had to pay a security deposit. Which I understand. But getting the credit back to my back account is an issue. They deduct it in a few minutes but it takes days to give it back?? Makes zero sense. Considering it's a slow time of year

We could have just driven right by this one but we were tired and hwy 5 just seemed to never end. Somehow I got on to this hotel's website in a search for a nights stay. The prices were great, and the reviews of past guests were consistently very good. This hotel is the surprise great stay of the year. First, the staff is very customer friendly. The first impression is that this place is very clean and well maintained. When we got to our room, I just said "wow" and my wife and I looked at each other. The bed was well made - extremely comfortable, and large. There is wifi included. All of the usually needed amenities are there and the whole place just seems so well cared for. Breakfast is included downstairs, There is an indoor pool if you are into The air conditioning worked well. The hotel is right next to HWY 5 but the room seemed decently insulated and it never bothered us There is an excellent restaurant next door if you need food I will definitely be back because this was as good as any name brand room I have ever stayed in I hope this review has helped your travel planning Travel safely Bobby W

I needed rest after driving over 1,000 miles in 2 days. I called the number listed for the hotel about vacancies. I was given the total price including all taxes and fees of $146.99. Before I disconnected my call with the man I was booking the room with, my credit card notified me that they were charging $189.32. The man said it was a deposit for incidentals. When I received the invoice at checkout, I discussed the charges with the clerk before. She informed me there was nothing she could do. I attempted to dispute with my credit company before I left, only to be told to wait until it showed up on my credit card bill. I just received my credit card bill, and the amount charged was $189.32. no reimbursement for the so called incidentals/deposit fees. I continue to try to recoup the $42.33 that was overcharged.

Check in was very easy. The room was inadequate. There were no amenities. I had to pay extra for a microwave and refrigerator. The lights on the wall did not work and it was Hair in the shower meaning it was not clean.

Smallest tv in room. Computer monitor was bigger. Great breakfast choices. Next to highway do a bit noisy
