Hotel Valentino Palace Reviews

I was initially afraid as the reviews were quite bad although it was rated 8/10. However, the hotel is nothing like the reviews at all! I was fortunate enough to stay in the renovated rooms and it was better than whatever the negative reviews have said! the showers were clean, bed was comfortable and even had a mega samsung tv for u to netflix and chill if you want. Many reviews say the lady was rude but i had no encounter of this at all! The guy was very friendly and overall i love the hotel environment as it was clean and safe! The restaurant beside the hotel is owned by the same owner i believed and they have good food there! Though indeed there isnt a signboard to locate the hotel, it is not hard to find. Just have to locate the restaurant and the door is literally next to the door of the restaurant with a A4 paper pasted on the door! Overall, i am super satisfied!

Vary good service

You will be hugely disappointed if you book based on the photos they display on their website. There is not even a proper name board displayed which was a night mare to figure out its location . They charge £100/night but won’t provide even handwash in washroom . No basic amenities . You could stay in a better place for the amount you pay for this “ HOSTEL “. Definitely it is “NOT “ palace

I was thinking whether or not to write this, but decided to do so because it would or might help others, please keep your expensive thing under lock and key! There’s no locker in the room!

For the price was really good. The area was like Stathmos Larissis in Athens (not feeling extra safe in night) and the people working there were friendly and helpful. The bathroom ventilation and air condition were noisy but you could turn them off.

The hotel is clean, in a convenient location. The amenities are basic. It's a very good choice for a short stay!

good , near center of the city

It may be hard to find because there is no sign, but it is located almost right in front of the train station, so the location is really, really good. It is a place where everything is fine just because of the location.

I was worried because the reviews were not very good, but it was really good! The bathroom was pretty clean, but the shower drained slowly and the floor got soaked. There were new towels, but there weren't enough for everyone. Other than that it was great! It said there was a transfer to the airport for a fee, but that was just the bus to the airport that leaves from Termini Station right in front of the hotel. It's better to make your own reservation for the bus. It was close to Termini Station and it was a comfortable stay. The staff were very kind and charming.

It was my first trip to Rome, so I was very worried. I arrived at the hotel at 9 p.m., and the male staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. Thank you. The room was assigned to the 3rd floor. It was a very clean room that had been remodeled. I stayed there for 2 days without any inconveniences and it was very nice. There is a Chinese restaurant right in front of the hotel, a pizza restaurant next to it, and it was really close to Termini Station, which was nice. The bathroom was close to the reception on the 1st floor and it was clean. It seems that some rooms have not been remodeled. When you get off the elevator, the left side seems to have been remodeled, and the right side seems to have not been remodeled yet. I am not sure.

The room was very comfortable and clean, although a bit noisy as it was next to the elevator and reception.

The hotel's location is close to the central train station.

Dated and poorly maintained hotel. The only advantage I found is that it is close to Termini station. In my opinion the score of 8.1 is too high for a hotel of this type. And I'm wondering what they found in this hotel to give it such a score, especially when it comes to two people at the reception who instead of helping customers start arguing and arguing with them. The reception staff is argumentative, especially the woman, except for the gentleman who works at night who is kind and serious. I asked by calling (telephoning) the reception from my cell phone as there is no phone in the room and I asked: where is the "do not disturb"? They answered me that THERE IS NOT, they do not have a "do not disturb" that is placed on the door... at this point I asked and repeated several times that I do not want the room to be made up, and despite this they made up the room. When I told the front desk that they made my room even though I asked no, they gave me absurd and illogical answers, and confirmed that they understood that I did not want them to make my room. I would not go back!

The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Termini, and 20 minutes walk from the Colosseum, the location is super. It was perfectly clean, cleaning every day! Special thanks to Luca, the sweetest and most welcoming! He met me, told me what to see, where to eat, everything was very welcoming! I will come back again!
