Very pleasant stay!
We spent a few days here and we are satisfied. The facility is clean and pleasant, and the area is quite good. Breakfasts are tasty, although there are no vegetables. A big plus is the delicious coffee and the stunning view from the terrace, where you can enjoy your meal. We will gladly come back!

Great atmospheric place with access to the roof and a great view from it.
Average breakfast.
The staff is not the most helpful: when checking in, we were taken to the part of the hotel opposite our room

Our stay went very well. The place is magnificent. The staff (reception, cleaning lady, etc.) are very kind.
Good breakfast.
PS: The mattress was a little hard for me, however. I felt the slats.

No lobby or nice corner when it’s very hot. The terrace has a superb view but is too exposed during hot weather. 2 drinks machines in a dark 'basement' corridor
The rooms are very clean and the staff charming.

I have never stayed anywhere so dirty and unhelpful. The rooms were nothing like expected, old very worn not to mention filthy dirty . The toilet door opened onto the sink so you couldn’t reach the towel rail that was hanging off the wall, the shower was filthy dirty inside and out we had to keep asking at the front desk for toilet paper. The dust was about an inch thick on the skirtings the wall above the bed had brown smudge marks and the outlook was disgusting .The rooms were up an old back staircase that was not attached to the hotel so it was always freezing cold , the bedding was one sheet and one blanket that was about 30 years old. No kettle in the room and they wouldn’t give us one , nor would they give us hot water so we could buy our own coffee. The breakfast should have been continental that was an absolute joke you were handed one dry croissant from a man behind a table and that was it for breakfast . I have never stayed in such an appalling hotel in my life one star is too generous for this place it should be shut down .

The Domus Sessoriana Hotel has been developed in part of a Monastery. It is attached to a magnificent church. The hotel is historic, very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. it is located south of the main Termini Rail station and is close to bus, tram and metro stops. If you like walking, you can walk Rome from here, otherwise hop on local transport. The rooms are fine and clean. Breakfast is typical continental with unlimited tea, coffee, juices, cereal, pastries, bread, cheese and ham... All served on the top floor conservatory with great views. There are local restaurants and cafes nearby..We are a mature couple and loved our 6 night stay.

This is a unique experience, very unusual and atmospheric. The building is cold by its nature with lots of corridors and tunnels. The rooms are basic, one or two cobwebs, towels and reasonable facilities. There is a hair dryer but no iron. The bedding was limited with a sheet and bedspread and it was cold. There is heating and air con. The shutters and window being closed didn’t drown out almost continuous sirens though we weren’t in the city centre. The breakfast was basic and though it was a buffet, you had to request a serving of anything such as bread or croissants from the staff, some were more friendly than others. It was not the best location, one hour walk to Coliseum and other attractions, nice in sunshine to walk if you can. The HOHO buses are too packed to use which is annoying. The termini station is 30m walk so a little outside the main attractions.

A very quirky place to stay about half an hour walk from the station, not 15 minutes as some reviews state! It's cheap 3 star hotel but we liked it. Basic room with ensuite but no coffee making facilities. Great roof top terrace and breakfast is continental but plentiful - bread, cheese, meats, cereal, yoghurt, fruit plus juice and tea/coffee. Near to tram stops, St Giovanni Station is less than 10 minutes walk. Convenience store, Japanese restaurant and bar a few minutes walk over the road. The bed was fine but the room was very warm even in February. Take a European plug adaptor as the only charging point is the shaver point in the bathroom. Take advantage of the free water refill and USB charging point outside near the hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights in January. Great location near to all the sights. Quirky feel as part of an old monestry. Breakfast adequate. Only issue was room not adequate. No where no charge your phone. No tea or coffee making facilities and bed sheets inadequate. The rooms could do with an update.

Jan 2025 long weekend visit, room was clean, bed was comfortable and the view from the window was of the church clock which had a lovely hourly chime. There is not a lounge/bar here so you need to go out and find one if that's your thing. Staff were welcoming. Breakfast was on the roof terrace which had great views. A great package deal with Jet2. Taxi ride to Coloseum was around €10 euros. Uber was the cheapest and fare agreed before hand.

We didn't pay much for our room, but we were pleasantly suprised by how good the hotel was. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was quite large, clean and had a balcony with views of the city. The double glazing cut out the noise of the traffic. The breakfast was on the roof terrace with great views and warm enough in December. Whilst they didn't offer a full English breakfast (this is Italy after all), they did have a wide variety of options for a tasty and filling breakfast. It is well located, within walking distance of the coluseum and handy for the metro and bus routes.
