The outside may look dingy, but don’t let that fool you! The rooms are beautiful and overlook the cove with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies for each room. Wonderful experience!

We were there for only one night & didn’t have a bayside room. The room was absolutely spotless! The continental breakfast in the morning was very nice. Afterwards, and before leaving, we walked down the bayside lawn with cups of coffee and sat in chairs by the bay. It was a beautiful and delightful way to start the day.

Nice enough place. Clean but a bit dated. The views are not as nice as other reviewers claim. The breakfast items were all sugar which I did not like.

Beautiful view, large room with balcony, grounds with picnic tables by the bay. Easy access on rt. 1 with free parking. Easy to explore the area. Bad breakfast.

Ledges By The Bay was a delightful place to stay on coastal Maine. It is perfectly located about halfway up the coast, allowing us to do day trips either north or south to visit small towns with charming sea views, restaurants and wonderful histories. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Our bed was very comfortable, as well, which means restful nights to fuel our daily coastal journeys. A special surprise for us was the delicious breakfast provided each morning. We had fruit, juices, coffee, cereal, muffins, and even a waffle maker! Thank you to the staff and owner for such a fine, well maintained hotel!
