The outside may look dingy, but don’t let that fool you! The rooms are beautiful and overlook the cove with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies for each room. Wonderful experience!

The room was very clean and smelled good. The view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We traveled from Tennessee so it was a long drive but directions were good. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom was awesome and coffee. I would definitely return to this hotel if I ever visit Maine again.. happy customer.

This is our third time staying at Ledges over the years. The new owners have done a wonderful job upgrading the rooms and making the property even better than our previous stays. It is a perfect base camp for exploring the area and a wonderful retreat if you just want to stay put and absorb the view and seabreezes from the property itself. Breakfast is limited, but in a beautiful sunroom overlooking the bay. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Our two night stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, which is always my biggest concern. Check in was great along with any assistance we needed. While our room did not have a view to Penobscot Bay, we were able to enjoy the view while having breakfast. Breakfast was standard continental. Room was good affordable value. Will stay there again if we travel to the area. Area has several restaurants but many were closed for the season (we stayed over the Oct holiday weekend ).

Clean comfortable accommodations central to the whole central Maine coast at a reasonable price. What more could one ask for? The lawn and view of the bay were amazing from our balcony and the place was immaculately kept. Would do it over and over whenever in mid coast!

The man I spoke to was so rude and disrespectful over the phone, I ended up staying somewhere else. He yelled, talked over me, and refused to allow me to explain my situation involving the 3rd party booking site. He told me it wasn't his problem. Seriously - DO NOT STAY HERE. Much nicer rooms are available in the area for comparable a price, and you won't be verbally assaulted at other places.
