Room was clean and still spacious after we asked for a fold-out bed for our 8-year-old. Great service - we were given some cables to connect our phone to our rental car as we forgot to pack them. The only thing is we were not provided with extra sheets for the foldout bed so our 8-year-old lay directly on it. We were given extra pillows but no extra blanket for the foldout bed, so we covered our child with the thin bed runner which was on our bed as a blanket, but he woke up cold in the middle of the night and crawled into our bed.

We had a very pleasant one- night stay here - we had booked a harbour view and that's what we had - just beautiful. A very clean unit with a comfortable bed & good shower. We did have to lug our suitcases up the outside stairs but this fact was stated in the description & was therefore no surprise - but the view made it all worthwhile. We enjoyed a very nice meal at The Caledonian Hotel. A lovely little town and we would have liked to have stayed another night.

We could not find a view as the Motel appears to have been built around. The room was clean and comfortable but very basic. The Motel is not very attractive, not much effort put into the gardens etc. Easy walk to town and water views.

We had expected something a little better than what we got. The room was clean, with basics. With a double bed, plus 2 singles, the double was right up close to the bathroom door,it wasn't very pleasant ! The room was without a kitchen sink ( room next door had one ), and puzzled as to why the microwave needed to be virtually on the floor, on hands & knees to use it, not at all practical or safe!

No View
For a hotel called Harbour View we thought there would be a view??? The room was comfortable the bathroom door (barn door) did not fit properly so privacy was an issue. Very soft bed but plenty of sleeping options e.g pillows, blankets, coverlet. Flywire doors very noisy when neighbours came in late.
