Yongze Lakeside International Hotel

Is the "international" thing just a facade? We checked in on September 27th. Upon arrival, the hotel's exterior and lobby were incredibly run-down. That was fine, but the most pressing issue was the poor receptionist. When we didn't understand something, she impatiently repeated it in a mantra-like manner, completely failing to resolve the issue. The guest rooms, while still maintaining their old-fashioned style, had two beds, one large and one small. It was obvious they were renovated later, causing the person sleeping in the single bed to have to hold their head against the light switch and electrical outlet. I accidentally turned on the light while sleeping soundly, giving me a start. The bathroom was not only run-down, but the floor was also unclean, and the drain was even more appalling. The window opened, but there was no mosquito net. There was also a construction site below, clearly inviting mosquitoes. The hotel didn't provide mosquito lights or coils, and the mosquitoes buzzed around my ears, keeping me awake all night. Imagine a group of tired travelers stumbling into this supposedly international hotel in the high altitude environment without experiencing a racing heartbeat and altitude sickness. The hotel does have quite a few international guests, and one foreigner living across the street complained about the noise from her room facing the street. To live up to the positive and friendly image of our country and the ******* people, please improve! Stop ripping people off.
