We go every year during the Solo Art Studios which is the Riebeek valley’s annual arts festival. It is comfortable, clean and has everything you need. Whether you are looking for simply an overnight studio or a weekend or longer cottage. It has lovely gardens which gives you a tranquil feel. Anna is friendly and will provide advice on village must do’s. She is accessible and will respond promptly to your needs.

We were quite disappointed with our recent experience. We had booked a two-bedroom house with a pool and air conditioning, but upon arrival, we were shown to a small cottage far from any pool, with no pool view or air conditioning. This was not at all what we had expected or what was advertised. The hostess did realize our dissatisfaction and made an effort to rectify the situation, but unfortunately, the damage was already done. While the property itself is gorgeous and peaceful, we couldn't shake the feeling of being unwelcome, and the whole arrival process left a bad taste in our mouths. Ultimately, what we were promised and what we received were two very different things. We decided to leave and found another place nearby, which was exactly as advertised and a much better fit for us. This experience highlighted the importance of accurate advertising and clear communication. While the setting and property itself is was beautiful and lush, we won't return.
